  • What are the terms and conditions to qualify for the Pakej Komunikasi Belia RM200 Rebate?
    He/She must be a Malaysian age between 21-30 years and earning a gross salary of RM3,000 and below.

  • Who is eligible to apply for the Pakej Komunikasi Belia RM200 Rebate?
    1. Youth between ages 21-30
    2. Single or Married
    3. Male & Female
    4. Full time / Part time students between 21-30

  • When can I start applying?
    Customers may start applying from 1st January 2013 onwards until 31st December 2013, or until the 1.5 million youth allocation is fulfilled, whichever comes first.

  • How do I apply for it?
    The pre-registration form has to be filled up first. The form can be found online at http://nbi.skmm.gov.my/

  • What do I do next after filling up the pre-registration form online?
    If your registration is successful, the form will be viewable on the screen. You will also receive an email with the form attached. This form has to be printed out and brought to the Maxis Centres / MEPs in order to claim for the RM200 rebate.

  • What documents will I need to present to the service providers in order to claim my RM200 rebate ?
    1. A copy of MyKad / Police Card / Army Card
    2. A copy of a student card (For part time / full time students only)

  • How will I be able to claim the RM200 rebate?
    After the service provider have successfully verified your application, RM200 will be deducted off from the real retail price of the 3G Smartphone that you have chosen with your service providers. You will only need to pay the remaining balance of the phone price.

  • In the case that my application is not successful, what should I do?
    There may be a few reason(s) why your application may be rejected:
    1. You did not fulfill the terms & conditions.
    2. Your MyKad Number / LHDN file / or KWSP number is found to be invalid/incorrect.
    3. You have registered more than once on the website.
    In certain cases whereby you fulfill all requirements but are still unable to successfully apply, you are advised to wait for the expiry date (3 months) from the time of registration.

  • How long of a duration do I have after the online pre-registration ?
    You are given three (3) months from the date of pre-registration to claim for the RM200 rebate. Your pre-registration form will be deemed invalid after the three (3) month expiry. You are to re-register again the following month.

  • I am working and I have a salary. Do I need to produce any documents for validation of my monthly salary ?
    1. No documents are needed for validation of the monthly salary.
    2. For self-employed youth, you will only need to state an estimation of your monthly gross salary. (Self-declaration)
    3. For unemployed youth, you will only need to state an estimation of your monthly gross salary if you have. (Self-declaration)

  • My gross income as a small time trader is RM3,200 a month. After deduction for the family expenses my income is left with an estimate of RM2,000 a month. Do I still qualify for this rebate?
    No, you do not qualify because the terms states that an individual must only have a gross income of RM3,000 and below.

  • If I am a sales person and my income includes commission, my salary may vary from month to month. If I earn RM2,400 in January, RM3,400 in February, and RM5,000 in March. Will I still be eligible to apply for the RM200 rebate?
    In such cases, we will only take your salary as it is in the month of application online. In the scenario above, if you have applied in January with a salary of RM2,400, you will be eligible for the RM200 rebate. Whilst if you had apply in February or March, you will not be eligible since your gross salary is more than RM3000.

  • What are the types of phone models which I can buy?
    You are eligible to purchase any 3G Smartphone that are listed in our website. Please refer to http://www.hotlink.com.my/hotlink/pkb/ for more updates on the latest device offerings.

  • What are the terms and conditions that I am subjected to in order to qualify for the Pakej Komunikasi Belia?
    The terms, rates and charges offered are all subjected to the respective service providers . You may refer to http://www.hotlink.com.my/hotlink/pkb/ for more updates on our latest promotions.

  • How long will this Pakej Komunikasi Belia offer be valid for?
    This Pakej is valid for a span of one (1) year, starting 1st January 2013 to 31st December 2013 OR until the 1.5 million youth allocations are fulfilled, whichever comes first.

  • If an individual is found guilty providing with false/wrong information intentionally, what causes of action will he/she be subjected to?
    Anyone found guilty in providing false information will be charged under Seksyen 193 Kanun Keseksaan (Akta 574) and may be sentenced to a maximum of three (3) years in jail and a fine.

  • I want to claim my RM 200 phone rebate, can I walk into any Maxis/Hotlink outlets to purchase?
    Yes, you can claim your RM200 rebate, however you will need to walk into supporting centres as listed via our website. We are in the midst of expanding to more outlets in the future. Please refer to our website https://www.hotlink.com.my/hotlink/pkb/ for more updates on the locations.

  • I want to get a phone from a Maxis Centre, but it is out of stock. What should I do?
    Our sales practice is based on a first come first serve basis and while stock last. You may choose the range that is available in store. Please refer to our website for more updates on the available devices.

  • Is Maxis going to have a waiting list for any of the devices (e.g iPhone 5) ?
    No. We are not going to have any waiting list for any of our devices. It is still based on the first come first serve basis.

  • Can I purchase any phone available in the market?
    No. Only selected phone models are being offered under this scheme. Pls refer to our website https://www.hotlink.com.my/hotlink/pkb/ from time to time to check for any updates on the range of devices as we are constantly trying to expand our range of devices.

  • I am not satisfied with my phone purchase, can I get a refund or can I exchange it with another phone?
    No. We regret to inform you that we will not be able to refund you, nor exchange it for another phone model. You may refer to our website https://www.hotlink.com.my/hotlink/pkb/ for more information.

  • If I am a new customer what should I do next after registering online at http://nbi.skmm.gov.my/ ?
    1. You may walk in to any of the Maxis Outlet listed in (Question 1).
      It is compulsory to bring the following documents to the Maxis Outlet:
      1. Photocopy IC
      2. Photocopy of Student Card (If applicable only)
    2. You may register as a prepaid or postpaid subscriber.
      1. Sign up Maxis Postpaid Device Package plan, OR
      2. Sign up Maxis Postpaid plan (with additional RM50 advance payment & min 200MB monthly Mobile Internet pass cost RM28 /month) and purchase device at RRP with RM200 rebate, OR
      3. Purchase Hotlink SIM pack with RM30 top-up (one-off) and purchase device at RRP with RM200 rebate

  • If I am an existing subscriber (Maxis/Hotlink), what should I do next after registering online at http://nbi.skmm.gov.my/ ?
    1. It is compulsory to bring the following documents to the Maxis Outlet:
      1. Photocopy IC
      2. Photocopy of Student Card (If applicable only)

    2. For Maxis subscribers :
      1. Sign up Maxis Postpaid Device Package plan, OR
      2. Sign up Maxis Postpaid plan (required to pay additional RM50 advance payment & subscribe to a min of 200MB monthly Mobile Internet pass cost RM28/month) and purchase device at RRP with RM200 rebate, OR
      3. Purchase a new Hotlink SIM pack and top-up RM30 (one-off) and purchase device at RRP with RM200 rebate

    3. For Hotlink subscribers :
      1. Sign up Maxis Postpaid Device Package plan, OR
      2. Sign up Maxis Postpaid plan (required to pay additional RM50 advance payment & subscribe to a min of 200MB monthly Mobile Internet pass cost RM28/month) and purchase device at RRP with RM200 rebate, OR
      3. Top-up RM30 (one-off) and purchase device at RRP with RM200 rebate

  • I am blacklisted by Maxis. Am I still eligible to claim for the RM200 rebate?
    Yes, you are still eligible to claim. However, you may only subscribe to our prepaid plan with a minimum purchase of 1-week data plan at a cost of RM8 for 250MB. You are NOT eligible to subscribe to postpaid/contract plans.

  • My record is not found in the system, what is the reason?
    There may be a few reason why your record may not be found in our system:
    1. You may not have registered yourself at nbi.skmm.gov.my
    2. You may have redeemed your RM200 rebate elsewhere. ( Note : Only one (1) phone redemption per youth )
    3. Your application may have expired in the system. (Note : Three (3) months validity from date of registration)

  • How long do I have to redeem the RM200 rebate from the date of registration? What should I do if my application has expired in the system?
    You have a period of three (3) months from the date of registration to redeem your RM200 rebate at the selected Maxis outlets. Should your application expire after three (3) months period, you will have to wait for another one (1) month period to re-register yourself at nbi.skmm.gov.my provided that the 1.5 million youth allocation is still available.

  • I have registered at nbi.skmm.gov.my , can my family / friends help claim the RM200 rebate for me at Maxis Centres?
    No, we do not allow anyone else to claim the RM200 rebate on your behalf as you will need to produce your original IC / Student card (If applicable) prior to purchasing the phone.

  • Do I need to pay advance payment for rateplan / device advance payment if I sign up for a new line?
    Yes, advance payment applies to all customers.

  • I am an existing customer on TalkMore28, can I add on RM28 (per month) for a data package (200MB) and buy the phone via outright purchase?
    Yes, you are also need to pay additional RM50 advance payment to qualify for the outright purchase.

  • I am a new customer, can I sign up for TalkMore28 + 100MB data package to purchase the phone via outright purchase?
    No, you cannot. You need to subscribe min of 200MB monthly Mobile Internet pass and pay RM50 advance payment to purchase the phone outright with RM200 rebate.

  • I have subscribed to two (2) device contracts (iValue 1 & iValue 3) . Can I still subscribe to a new postpaid contract to qualify for the RM200 rebate?
    No, you will not be entitled to sign up for a new device contract as we only allow a maximum of two (2) device contracts per individual.

  • What is the requirement to get the free 300MB Maxis Monthly Mobile Internet Pass?
    1. Hotlink Prepaid Plan (Outright purchase)
      1. RM30 top-up (one-off) is required during 3G Smartphone purchase.
      2. For the subsequent months, it will be RM30 top-up (accumulated ) to continue enjoy the FREE Mobile Internet.
    2. Maxis Postpaid Plan (no contract)
      1. Subscribe to a min of 200MB Maxis Monthly Mobile Internet Pass (cost RM28/month).
    3. Maxis Device Packages (contract) & Maxis Postpaid Plan (no contract)
      1. Subscribe to Maxis Device Packages (12/24 months contract)
      2. Ensure the line remain active (not suspended)

  • For Maxis Postpaid Plan (no contract), will I get back the RM50 advance payment? If yes, when do I receive it?
    Yes, you will receive the advance payment in your next bill cycle.

  • When will I get the free 300MB Maxis Monthly Mobile Internet Pass?
    1. Hotlink Prepaid Plan (Outright purchase)
      1. Get it within 14 days from the date of device purchase
    2. Maxis Device Packages (contract) & Maxis Postpaid Plan (no contract)
      1. Purchases from 8 Feb to 31 Mar: Get the free internet pass on 4 Apr 2013
      2. Purchases from 1 Apr onwards: Get it within 14 days from the date of device purchase
