How do I get Broadband?
Customers with a Hotlink SIM can purchase the service by dialing *100#. If you do not have a Hotlink SIM, you can purchase a Hotlink SIM pack from your nearest centre/dealer.

No, modems are not provided.

Do I need to register for the service?
No registration is necessary.

Do I need to change the settings of my modem/handset?
Yes, please key in the below accordingly:
• APN: bbnet
• Access Number: *99#
• User Name: maxis
• Password: wap

How do I check the validity of my package ?
Step 1: Key in #100* and press SEND.
Step 2: Select “Services” and press SEND.
Step 3: Select “Broadband” and press SEND.
Step 4: Select “Check Status” and press SEND.

How do I know if I’m nearing the volume quota?
An SMS notification will be sent to you once you have reached 80% of your volume quota and once again when you have finished it. You can also perform a status check via the Prepaid Broadband portal at www.hotlink.com.my/broadband when you are connected with the service

What happens if I am using the service halfway and my subscription expires?
You will be re-directed to the Broadband portal. You can purchase a new prepaid broadband package to continue using the service.

If my Hotlink credit expires but I still have an existing prepaid broadband subscription, can I still use the Broadband service?
Yes, you can continue to use the Broadband service even though the Hotlink credit has expired. However, to buy another Broadband subscription, you will need to top up and reactivate your Hotlink credit before you can purchase another subscription.

How do I terminate the service?
There is no termination for Broadband. Just finish up your quota as the service is not auto renewable.

Can I upgrade my Broadband?
No upgrades are applicable for Broadband.

Can I have International Data Roaming?
International Data Roaming is not available for these packages.
