International SMS rate before 23rd June 2010 is RM0.20/SMS to all countries. After 23rd June 2010, the International SMS rate will be adjusted to RM0.50/SMS to all countries except Thailand Nepal, Indonesia & Singapore. International SMS rate to Thailand Nepal, Indonesia & Singapore will be maintained at RM0.20/SMS

Why is Hotlink increasing the International SMS rate?
As Hotlink strives to connect to more and more overseas operators for the benefit and ease of communication by our valued customers to their friends and families all around the world, the cost to maintaining and expanding such connection has gone up since 2 years ago. As such while trying not to disrupt SMS traffic to international destinations, Hotlink has no choice but to increase the cost of sending SMS. However, Hotlink still maintains the cost of sending International SMS at RM0.20/SMS to four popular countries (Thailand, Nepal, Indonesia & Singapore)
Why are the International SMS rate for Thailand, Nepal, Indonesia & Singapore not increased?
Thailand, Nepal, Indonesia & Singapore are the 4 most popular International SMS destinations and Hotlink is able to maintain our cost to send SMS to these countries. As such, Hotlink has decided to keep the rate at RM0.20/SMS for the benefits of the majority of our customers
Will there be any promotions on International SMS with lower rates in the future?
Currently there are no such promotion plans yet but we are not discounting that possibility in the near future.
