Hotlink Prepaid eSIM is available for all active Hotlink prepaid and postpaid customers.

You may get Hotlink Prepaid eSIM almost instantly via the Hotlink app. Click HERE to download the Hotlink app.
Alternatively, Hotlink Prepaid eSIM is available at all Maxis Centres. -
There is no specific rateplan for Hotlink Prepaid eSIM. You can use it with any of your current Hotlink Plan.

The Hotlink Prepaid eSIM needs to be activated via an eSIM enabled device supported by Maxis.
For activation via the Hotlink app, click "Get NEW Prepaid eSIM", and follow the instructions to complete the registration. Upon successful registration, you may download your eSIM via the Hotlink app or email.
For activation at Maxis Centres, an eSIM activation kit will be provided upon request. Within the activation kit, you will find an activation card which contains a QR code needed for the set-up. -
For a limited time offer, there are no additional charges to get the Hotlink Prepaid eSIM.

Yes, you can, if your device is among the list of supported eSIM devices. Please walk into Maxis Centres for assistance.
For a limited time offer, there are no additional charges to convert your existing Hotlink Prepaid SIM to eSIM. -
You may use your eSIM activation kit to download your eSIM profile again by scanning the QR code available on the eSIM activation kit. We advise that you keep the eSIM activation kit for future use.
Otherwise, you may walk into Maxis Centres to request for a new eSIM activation kit/card.
Prevailing charges for SIM replacement may apply. -
Hotlink Prepaid eSIM profile is equivalent to your conventional SIM, containing all personal SIM information. This eSIM profile allows the device to connect to our mobile network to send and receive calls, SMS, and access apps, independently without the need for Bluetooth pairing to your smartphone.

Please check the eSIM manual installation guidance we have sent to the email address updated during the eSIM registration. Follow the installation instructions in the email accordingly.

No. An eSIM profile works on one device only and can’t be reused on a different device. If you're getting a new device, you would need a new eSIM. For a smooth transition and minimal disruption to your usage, we recommend backing up and restoring all your information, app details, etc., to the new phone before visiting Maxis stores for an eSIM replacement.
Once the replacement is done, the mobile connection on your old eSIM and device will be disconnected and you may activate the new eSIM on your new device immediately to stay connected. -
You should delete your eSIM profile by resetting your eSIM and terminating your subscription associated to the device.

For eSIM, any change in device will require a new eSIM (SIM replacement treatment).

Yes, you can request to change to the standard SIM card at any Maxis stores. Prevailing charges for SIM replacement may apply.

- Please call our customer service hotline immediately to report the loss and request for temporary suspension to prevent unauthorised usage.
- Walk into any Maxis Store to replace your SIM card. Please bring your MyKad, as we will conduct a biometric verification before making the amendments.
For foreigners, please walk in personally with your passport. A replacement fee of RM10 is applicable.
