No, there is no time-band for the minutes, SMS’ and data for these Hot Tickets. They can be used 24-hours a day, within the validity period.
How do I check my Hot Ticket Extra balance?
- For minutes and SMS: Dial *129#
- For data: Dial *136*9#, then choose '1' for 'Check Status'
Can I use the minutes and SMS’ to contact other networks?
Yes. They can be used to make local calls to all networks, and selected toll free numbers, as shown in the following table:

What happens if I still have unutilized minutes / SMS after the validity period?
Unutilized minutes & SMS will be forfeited (reset to zero) after the expiry date unless a subsequent Hot Ticket is activated.
What happens to my unutilized minutes / SMS if I did not make another purchase of the Hot Ticket Extra after the validity period?
Failing to top up with another Hot Ticket after your validity ends will result in forfeiture of all your unutilized Minutes & SMS balance (Minutes & SMS’ will be reset to zero).
Is there a max cap for the minutes & SMS’ to be carried forward?
Your unused minutes and SMS’ from the previous Hot Ticket Extra can be carried forward after another Hot Ticket Extra activation is made before the expiry date; where the maximum total minutes and SMS’ upon the new activation are 300 minutes and 1000 SMS’. Minutes and SMS’ exceeding these amounts will be forfeited.
What will happen to my unused data balance?
Your unused data balance will be forfeited and will not be carried forward.
What happens if I exceeded the data quota?
If you exceed the data quota within the validity period, your speed will be throttled.
Data will be discontinued after validity ends even if you did not exhaust your data quota. Fair Usage Policy applies (www.maxis.com.my/mobilefup)
Can I purchase another Hot Ticket Extra or Social Hot Ticket if I already have an existing Hot Ticket?
Yes you may. The data given in the Hot Ticket Extra is stackable on top of other passes. The data with the shortest validity will be utilized first.
