Who are eligible for the passes?
All Hotlink subscribers except Hotlink Broadband, Hotlink Tablet and Hotlink FAST.
How many passes can I purchase in a day?
You can purchase as many passes as you wish, as the daily pass allows multiple stacking.
When do the passes expire?
All passes have a validity of 24 hours.
Where can I purchase the passes?
The passes are available in both UMB and RED App.
What is the Monster Video Pass Offer?
It is a Mobile Internet pass that allows you to stream your favourite videos and keep up with what’s trending.
If I have a Monster Video pass and I am watching a video on YouTube, where will my quota be drawn from?
Any browsing or streaming from YouTube will draw quota from the 1GB YouTube quota.
The YouTube 1GB quota is also applicable for selected Google Applications.
Can I use the passes for any other data browsing/usage?
Yes, you may. Any other data browsing/usage will be drawn from the 500MB quota.
What happens if I finish using the quota for these promo passes? Will I be charged pay-per-use charges?
If I have a daily 100MB pass and a daily Monster Video Pass, which quota will the GPRS activity draw from?
Quota will be drawn from the pass which expires first. For example, if your daily 100MB pass expires at 15:00 and your Monster Video Pass expires at 16:00, quota will be drawn from Daily 100MB Pass.
If I have a weekly/monthly pass and a Monster Video Pass, which quota will the GPRS activity draw from?
The quota will be drawn from the pass with the shortest expiry; in this case, it would be from the daily Monster Video Pass that has a shorter validity as compared to weekly/monthly pass.
My Video Quota data is being drained even though I haven’t browsed the Video sites.
We will ensure, on a best efforts basis, that all traffic associated with the Video Quota is covered. However, as there are some shared resources between the video partners and other 3rd party web and video sites, there will be some browsing usage that may be drawn from your video quota, instead of being drawn from the normal quota.
My normal quota data is being drained even when I’m on one of the video sites.
We will ensure, on a best efforts basis, that all traffic associated with the Video Quota is covered. However, as there are some shared resources between the video partners and other 3rd parties, which may draw from your normal quota instead.
