Service Specific Terms & Conditions (“SSTC”) – Hotlink Flex Plus Fibre

  1. The Plan(s): Hotlink Flex Plus Fibre comprising a mobile postpaid 10GB + 10GB YouTube and Home Fibre Internet - 30Mbps.
  2. You: Person(s) signing up for the Plan(s).
  3. The use of the Plan(s) and Service(s) is subject to the Hotlink General Terms & Conditions (“GTC”), Hotlink Postpaid Mobile Internet Service Specific Terms & Conditions (“MI SSTC”), Maxis Fair Usage Policy (“FUP”), Summary Terms and Conditions (“STC”) and any other applicable terms and conditions, all at
  4. Any conflict or inconsistency between this SSTC, GTC, MI SSTC and STC, shall be construed in the following order of precedence: (a) SSTC; (b) MI SSTC; (c) GTC and (d) STC. Further, the Home Fibre Internet - 30Mbps under the Plan(s) is subject to SSTC – MaxisONE Home Broadband at For clarity, any conflict or inconsistency between this SSTC and SSTC – MaxisONE Home Broadband, this SSTC shall take precedence.
  5. Capitalised terms herein have the same meaning as defined in the GTC.
  6. We reserve the rights without liability, to revise this SSTC, the Plan(s) and our pricing. Where reasonably practicable, we will give you reasonable advance notice of such changes and all previous versions of our user guides or leaflets will be superseded. You accept you are responsible for regularly reviewing information on the Plan(s) and Service(s) at and, including changes to the Agreement. Your continued use of the Service(s) and/or Plan(s) (after the Effective Date of any revision/change to the terms and conditions of Services and/or Plan(s)) shall constitute unconditional acceptance by you of such revisions/changes and you shall be bound by the same. If you do not accept such revisions/changes, you will terminate the Plan(s) and/or the use of the Services by giving us notice within 28 days from the Effective Date failing which you are assumed to have accepted the changes.


  1. This Plan(s) is open for all new and existing Maxis/Hotlink customers to subscribe. However, existing Maxis customer or Hotlink customer can only subscribe to the Plan(s) as a new account, you cannot transfer an existing account under Maxis or Hotlink into this Plan(s).
  2. You are ineligible for this Plan(s) if you owe us any payments.
  3. The Plan(s) is inapplicable to you if you are a commercial user and/or bulk subscriber.
  4. The provision of Service(s) is contingent on your Premises being-fibre ready, having fibre port and a termination point within the Premises.

Availability of Service(s)

  1. Hotlink Flex Plus Fibre is only available in certain coverage areas and is on best effort basis. Call 123 (from your mobile), 1800 82 1123 or log onto to check if you are within the coverage area.
  2. If you request to Port to our Service(s) to subscribe for this Plan(s) and:
    1. if the Porting is not successful for any reason whatsoever, we will provide you with a new MSISDN after 14 days from registration date of this Plan(s); or
    2. if the Porting is successful or a new MSISDN has been given according to clause 12(i), but home fibre cannot or fail to be activated for any reason whatsoever, we will endeavor to:
      1. contact you and upon successful contact, we will provide you with a new mobile plan according to the prevailing subscription price; or
      2. contact you but if we are unable to contact you within 30 days from registration date, we shall be entitled to suspend or terminate the mobile postpaid 10GB + 10GB YouTube plan.


  1. The Plan(s) structure and applicable charges and rates are stated in the appended Appendix I and also published on our official website at, as updated by us from time to time.
  2. Charges published on Appendix I or our official website are exclusive of all applicable taxes.

Deposit, Monthly Commitment Fee & Billing

  1. A deposit of RM500 is chargeable for non-Malaysians subscribing for the Plan(s) and Service(s).
  2. Your monthly commitment fee will be prorated against your billing cycle date. You will get a 100% discount on your monthly commitment fee until the date of successful installation of Home Fibre Internet 30 Mbps (“Installation Date”) and thereafter you will be charged the full monthly commitment fee as stated in Appendix I.
  3. Non-payment for any one of the Plan(s)’ Service package may result in suspension or barring of all the Service(s) until the outstanding amount is paid. To reactivate Service(s) (where account is barred due to non-payment) after making payment of outstanding amount, you are required to call 123 (from your mobile) or 03- 7492 2123 (from non-maxis line) for an instant reactivation, otherwise, Service(s) will only be reactivated within 3 hours from payment.
  4. Change of ownership of the Plan(s) is not allowed.
  5. Non-payment of monthly commitment fee and/or billing may result in suspension or barring of all the Service(s) until the outstanding amount is paid.
  6. Monthly commitment fee does not contribute to MaxisOne Club.

Unlimited Mobile’s Minutes and SMS’

  1. This Plan(s) include unlimited voice and SMS’. You acknowledge and accept, for the voice and SMS’ allocated with the Plan(s) that the unlimited minutes and SMS’:
    1. applies to domestic mobile/fixed ON-net usage (Maxis to Maxis calls and SMS) & OFF-net usage (calls and SMS from Maxis to other Service Provider) for the Plan(s) (excluding video calls, calls to numbers with special charges e.g. 1-300/1-700/600, 121, TM100, 1MOCC, 02-prefix numbers for IDD calls to Singapore & 080-prefix numbers for border calls to Brunei which applicable rates are provided at;
    2. are for standard person-to-person calls or texts and not for any commercial and/or non-personal usage; and
    3. is not meant for multiple simultaneous calling, conference calling (unless you are subscribed to the conference calling service with Maxis), re-supply, call centre usage, telemarketing, bulk messaging, application-to-person communication, continuously call forwarding, auto-dialing, machine-to-machine communication (including by using your SIM Card in any other devices), Cellular Trunking Units (CTUs), or any other activity we consider to be non-standard usage.

Minimum Commitment Period and Early Termination

  1. The contract for the Plan(s) is twenty-four (24) months (“Minimum Commitment Period”) commencing from the Installation Date.
  2. You shall NOT during the Minimum Commitment Period:
    1. terminate your mobile account under this Plan(s) or port out to another mobile service provider, unless you paid an early termination penalty of RM500 to us;
    2. suspend your mobile postpaid 10GB + 10GB YouTube / Home Fibre Internet - 30 Mbps account;
    3. have your mobile account terminated for non-payment of monthly bills;
    4. change or transfer ownership of this Plan(s); or
    5. upgrade or downgrade your mobile postpaid 10GB + 10GB YouTube or Home Fibre Internet – 30Mbps. Any change or termination of either Home Fibre Internet – 30Mbps or mobile postpaid 10GB + 10GB YouTube will lead to early termination of both mobile and Home Fibre Internet – 30 Mbps under this Plan(s), and the early termination penalty of RM500 will be imposed on you.

Things we may do to the Service(s)

  1. We reserve the rights at any time, without being liable to you or any third party, to interrupt, bar, suspend, restrict the Service(s) for such time as we see fit or terminate, discontinue or disconnect the Service(s) if your usage:
    1. shows excessive usage or placing unusual burdens on our Network;
    2. is or is suspected for unlawful activities or for suspected fraudulent activities;
    3. is not in accordance with our Fair Usage Policy at; or
    4. is for commercial/non-personal purposes.

Mobile Internet Package allocation and service

  1. For data allocated with the Plan(s), you acknowledge and accept that:
    1. The mobile postpaid 10GB + 10GB YouTube allocated for the Plan(s) is exclusively for domestic usage only;
    2. You will experience data browsing at reduced speeds but with no excess charges if any usage exceeds the allocated mobile internet quota; and
    3. You may purchase one-time passes (non-recurring) before you exceed your mobile internet package allocation. Such purchase or upgrade is available through your USSD menu browser (“UMB”) using *100# or mobile app menu and accessible through your Mobile Phone, other available devices or channels as we may inform you from time to time. All the available data passes and applicable rates are capped based on the time/ usage (quota entitlement) and are set out in appended Appendix II.


  1. The rates outlined in the Plan(s) structure (as per the Appendix I) do not account for usages while you are on an overseas roaming network. Whilst roaming overseas, the prevailing data roaming charges at will apply. All rates for SMS, Outgoing calls, Incoming calls and Roam 120 applies as per Hotlink Postpaid Flex at However, for roaming passes, only Dataroam Pass RM38 is available for Hotlink Flex Plus Fibre.
  2. Whilst you are on data roaming, each data session is split between the Maxis domestic network and Maxis’ overseas roaming partner’s network. Hence, you will incur increased data charges for the local portion within the Maxis network and for usages on the overseas roaming network. It is therefore advisable for you to turn off data roaming to prevent excessively high mobile bills, unless you have subscribed to Maxis’ data roaming plans at

Additional Features & Requirements

  1. You will only be able to enjoy the mobile benefits of the Plan(s) after the activation of the SIM Card and enjoy the home fiber services after the Installation Date.
  2. Upon activation of the Plan(s), your mobile postpaid 10GB + 10GB YouTube and Home Fibre Internet – 30Mbps plan must be kept active and not suspended during the Minimum Commitment Period if you want to enjoy the benefits of the Plan(s).
  3. If for any reason, your Home Fibre Internet - 30Mbps under the Plan(s) fails to be activated or installed after 30 days from registration date, you are deemed not to have been registered for the Plan(s) and by default Maxis will automatically switch your subscription to Hotlink Postpaid Flex Plus. In such event, you will have an option to switch your mobile Hotlink Postpaid Flex Plus onto any other Maxis or Hotlink Mobile plans with no penalty. If we are unable to contact you to perform the switch, we shall be entitled to suspend or terminate the Plan(s) with no penalty.
  4. No suspension of mobile postpaid 10GB + 10GB YouTube, Home Fibre Internet – 30Mbps, or both is allowed voluntarily during the Minimum Commitment Period. Maxis shall reserve the right to charge a reactivation fee or continue recurring monthly charges as normal in the event of any suspension.
  5. In the event that the Maxis Equipment (including any SIM Card) is lost or broken, you will be charged accordingly for the replacement and delivery of Maxis Equipment. The charge will appear in the next monthly bill.
  6. There is no guarantee of speed. Availability of Service(s) depends on Mobile data coverage.
  7. No dongle will be provided under this Plan(s)
  8. You will need to purchase your own Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunication Phone (“DECT”) should you desire to have DECT and you agree to accept the phone number assigned to you before we activate the VOIP service.


  1. Subject to our GTC, you may at any time terminate the Plan(s) by walking into our Maxis Center as listed on
  2. Subject to GTC, this Plan(s) will be terminated if you make any changes to your plan and if you relocated and have been relocated to an area outside our Service(s) coverage area.
  3. Upon termination of your Plan(s), all benefits under the Plan will automatically cease to be applicable.
  4. Maxis reserves the right to terminate the Service(s) in the instance you suspend the Service(s) for any period exceeding 3 consecutive months.
