Service Specific Terms & Conditions (“SSTC”) – Hotlink Happy Hour

Version Date: 1st March 2022

    1. The Offer: Hotlink Happy Hour
    2. Offer Period: Start date begins on 6th April 2017 and will continue until further notice from Maxis
    3. The use of Hotlink Happy Hour is subject to the General Terms & Conditions (“GTC”), this Service Specific Terms & Conditions (“SSTC”), Maxis Fair Usage Policy and any other applicable terms and conditions, all at www.maxis.com.my/tnc
    4. Capitalised terms herein have the same meaning as defined in the GTC.
    5. Any conflict or inconsistency between this SSTC, the GTC and Summary Terms and Conditions (“STC”), shall be construed in the following order of precedence: (a) SSTC; (b) GTC; and (c) STC.
    6. We reserve the rights without liability, to revise this SSTC and our pricing. Where reasonably practicable, we will give you reasonable advance notice of such changes and all previous versions of our user guides or leaflets will be superseded. You accept you are responsible for regularly reviewing information on the Offer and Service(s) at www.hotlink.com.my/en/plan/mobile-internet-pass.html, including changes to the Agreement. Your continued use of the Service(s) and/or Offer (after the Effective Date of any revision/change to the terms and conditions of Service(s) and/or Offer shall constitute unconditional acceptance by you of such revisions/changes and you shall be bound by the same. If you do not accept such revisions/changes, you may discontinue using the Service and/or Offer, failing which you are assumed to have accepted the changes.
    1. For purchase of the following passes, the FREE 1GB for 1 hour is available for redemption every day while the pass is active:-
      1. Weekly RM10 Mobile Internet Pass
      2. Any monthly RM30 and above Mobile Internet Pass
    1. The FREE pass is open for redemption from 12.00 am to 11.59pm , while the pass is active and during the Offer Period.
    2. The maximum redeemable pass is 1 pass per day, per customer.
    1. All existing Hotlink prepaid services are eligible for the Offer excluding Hotlink Tourist SIM, Hotlink Postpaid, Hotlink RED, Hotlink RED ECEM, Hotlink Superrr and all new rateplans.
    2. The Offer is not valid for mobile internet passes which are activated prior to the Offer start date.
    1. The FREE 1GB 1 hour pass is valid for 60 minutes from the point of redemption.
    2. This pass is available for redemption upon purchase of a valid weekly/monthly pass every day until weekly/monthly pass expires/renews.
    3. For any use of internet, the FREE Happy Hour pass will be utilized first. Thereafter, your use of the internet will be subject to your initial pass quota. If this initial pass quota/ or any other active internet passes falls to zero balance, you will experience reduced internet speed at no charge.
    1. We reserve the rights at any time without being liable to you or any third party to interrupt, bar, suspend, restrict the Offer and/or Service(s) for such time as we see fit or terminate, discontinue or disconnect the Offer and/or Service(s) if your usage:
      1. shows excessive usage or placing unusual burdens on the network;
      2. is for unlawful activities or for suspected fraudulent activities;
      3. is not in accordance with the Maxis Fair Usage Policy (at www.maxis.com.my/FUP)
      4. is for commercial/non-personal purposes.
