Service Specific Terms & Conditions (“SSTC”) – Value Extras

General

  1. The Service: Value Extras 
  2. You: Person(s) signing up/subscribing for the Service 
  3. The use of the Service is subject to the General Terms & Conditions (“GTC”), Service Specific Terms & Conditions (“SSTC”), Maxis Fair Usage Policy (www.maxis.com.my/FUP), Spotify terms and conditions; and any other applicable terms and conditions, all at (www.maxis.com.my/tnc/personal )
  4. Capitalised terms herein have the same meaning as defined in the GTC.
  5. Any conflict or inconsistency between this SSTC, the GTC and Summary Terms and Conditions (“STC”), shall be construed in the following order of precedence: (a) SSTC; (b) GTC; and (c) STC. 
  6. We reserve the rights without liability, to revise this SSTC, Service, plan(s), packages and our pricing. Where reasonably practicable, we will give you reasonable advance notice of such changes and all previous versions of our user guides or leaflets will be superseded. You accept you are responsible for regularly reviewing information on the Service, plan(s) or packages at www.maxis.com.my/tnc/personal), including changes to the Agreement. Your continued use of the Service and/or plan(s) or packages (after the Effective Date of any revision/change to the terms and conditions of Services and/or plan(s) or packages) shall constitute unconditional acceptance by you of such revisions/changes and you shall be bound by the same. If you do not accept such revisions/changes, you may discontinue using the plan(s), packages and/or the Service, failing which you are assumed to have accepted the changes. 

 

Extra SMS

  1. Only valid for SMS’ sent from Maxis mobile numbers to Maxis/Hotlink numbers.
  2. Extra SMS is applicable to the first 500 SMS’ sent in a month. These 500 SMS’ are not applicable to Family Plus SMS and Extra TEN SMS.
  3. Unused SMS’ cannot be carried forward to the next month.

 

Extra TEN

  1. Applicable to 10 Maxis mobile/Hotlink numbers.
  2. First 10 numbers registered is free. Subsequent changes to the list will be charged at RM2 per number.
  3. A call rate of 8 sen per min and 1 sen per SMS is only applicable for calls made and SMS’ sent (in respect of the registered 10 Maxis mobile/Hotlink numbers only) within Malaysia and is not applicable when roaming.
  4. Family Plus™ numbers cannot be included as an Extra TEN number. 

 

Extra Weekend

  1. For Extra Weekend, there will be a RM8 subscription fee per month.
  2. Half price call rates are valid for Maxis mobile to Maxis/Hotlink calls from Saturday 12.00am to Sunday 11.59pm.
  3. Half price call rate is based on individual rate plans.
  4. Half price call rate is not applicable when roaming.
  5. Half price call rate does not apply to Family Plus numbers.
  6. Half price call rate does not apply to Extra TEN™ numbers.
  7. Half price call rate applies to both Voice and Video calls. 

 

Extra Nite 

  1. For Extra Nite, there will be a RM8 subscription fee per month.
  2. Subscription fees are not pro-rated.
  3. Half price call rates are valid for Maxis mobile to Maxis/Hotlink calls from Mondays to Fridays, 9pm to 7am.
  4. Half price call rates are not applicable on Saturdays and Sundays.
  5. Half price call rate is based on individual rate plans.
  6. Half price call rate is not applicable when roaming.
  7. Half price call rate does not apply to Family Plus numbers.
  8. Half price call rate does not apply to Extra TEN™ numbers.
  9. Half price call rate applies to both Voice and Video calls. 

 

Rates/Charges

  1. We reserve the rights to amend the rates at any time. Any amendments in relation to rates from the date it is published on our website (at www.maxis.com.my) or such other dates as may be stated by us. Rates/Charges displayed do not include all applicable taxes and GST. 

 

Roaming 

  1. The rates published on our website do not account for usages while on an overseas roaming network. Whilst roaming overseas, the prevailing data roaming charges at https://www.maxis.com.my/en/personal/services/addons/idd-and-roaming/international-roaming.html apply.
