Service Specific Terms And Conditions ("SSTC") –

General

  1. The Promo: #Hotlink EC/EM Top Up Promo
  2. You: Person(s) signing up for the Promo.
  3. The use of the Promo is subject to the General Terms & Conditions (“GTC”), Service Specific Terms & Conditions (“SSTC”), Maxis Fair Usage Policy and any other applicable terms and conditions, all  at www.maxis.com.my/tnc
  4. Capitalised terms herein have the same meaning as defined in the GTC.
  5. Any conflict or inconsistency between this SSTC, the GTC and Summary Terms and Conditions (“STC”), shall be construed in the following order of precedence: (a) SSTC; (b) GTC; and (c) STC.
  6. We reserve the rights without liability, to revise this SSTC, Promo and our pricing. Where reasonably practicable, we will give you reasonable advance notice of such changes and all previous versions of our user guides or leaflets will be superseded. You accept you are responsible for regularly reviewing information on the Promo and Service(s) at www.hotlink.com.my/e), changes to the Agreement. Your continued use of the Service(s) and/or Promo (after the Effective Date of any revision/change to the terms and conditions of Plan(s) and/or Promo shall constitute unconditional acceptance by you of such revisions/changes and you shall be bound by the same. If you do not accept such revisions/changes, you may discontinue using the Plan and/or Promo, failing which you are assumed to have accepted the changes.

Promo Mechanics

  1. For every RM5 to RM9 top-up, subscribers will be rewarded with:-
    1. Free 10 Minutes calls to Maxis/Hotlink numbers that are valid for 3 days only.
  1. For every RM10 to RM29 top-up, subscribers will be rewarded with:-
    1. Free 60 Minutes calls to Maxis/Hotlink numbers that are valid for 5 days, AND;
    2. Free 10GB internet for Facebook & 10GB Larut Malam Pass that is valid for 5 days
  1. For every RM30 and above topped up, subscribers will be rewarded with:-
    1. Free 120 Minutes calls to Maxis/Hotlink numbers that are valid for 15 days, AND;
    2. Free 10GB internet for Facebook &10GB Larut Malam Pass that is valid for 15 days


Eligibility

  1. All existing and new subscribers of #Hotlink Kelantan, #Hotlink Terengganu, #Hotlink Sabah, #Hotlink Sarawak are eligible for the promotion.
  2. Top-ups must be made within the Sabah, Sarawak, Kelantan and Terengganu regions.
  3. Offer is not valid for pinless ReloadPlus, Share A Top Up, Post Aid Top Up, Ask A Top Up, SOS Top and Hot Ticket Top Up


Free Minutes

  1. The FREE Minutes offer is on a promotional basis only.
  2. The FREE Minutes will be automatically credited into your Hotlink account instantly upon top up.
  3. For any calls to a Maxis/Hotlink number, the FREE minutes will be utilized first.
  1. You acknowledge and accept, for the voice allocated with the Promo Free minutes:
    1. applies to domestic mobile/fixed ON-net (Maxis to Maxis calls and SMS’)
    2. are valid for use within Sabah, Sarawak, Kelantan and Terengganu regions only and only applicable for calls originating from Sabah, Sarawak, Kelantan and Terengganu regions to all Maxis/Hotlink networks.
    3. are for standard person-to-person calls and not for any commercial and/or non-personal usage;
    4.  is NOT meant for multiple simultaneous calling, conference calling, re-supply, call centre usage, telemarketing, bulk messaging, application-to-person communication, continuously call forwarding, auto-dialling, machine-to-machine communication (including by using your SIM card in any other devices), Cellular Trunking Units (CTUs), or any other activity we consider to be non-standard usage.
    5. FREE minutes will not be applicable once you are out of Sabah, Sarawak, Kelantan and Terengganu regions.

Free 10GB Facebook & 10GB Larut Malam Pass

  1. The FREE 10GB Facebook & 10GB Larut Malam Pass offer is on a promotional basis only.
  2. The FREE 10GB Facebook & 10GB Larut Malam Pass will be automatically credited into your Hotlink account within 24 hours upon top up.
  1. You acknowledge and accept, for the data allocated with the Promo FREE 10GB Facebook & 10GB Larut Malam Pass:
    1. applies to:
      1. Browsing of Facebook via App or Mobile Browser
      2. Internet browsing, streaming and usage between 1AM-7AM
  1. do not apply to:
    1. P2P file downloads / sharing
    2. Tethering/Hotspot services to other device(s) via App or Mobile Browser or other browsers for the following usages:-
      1. Facebook application and other similar applications
      2. Messenger application and other similar applications
  1. are valid for use within Sabah, Sarawak, Kelantan and Terengganu regions only
  2. are for standard internet browsing, streaming and usage, and not for any commercial and/or non-personal usage;
  3. is NOT meant for multiple simultaneous calling, conference calling, re-supply, call centre usage, telemarketing, bulk messaging, application-to-person communication, continuously call forwarding, auto-dialling, machine-to-machine communication (including by using your SIM card in any other devices), Cellular Trunking Units (CTUs), or any other activity we consider to be non-standard usage.

  5. Fair Usage Policy applies to the Free 10GB Facebook & 10GB Larut Malam Pass as follows:-
    1. 5 days pass – 50GB for 10GB Facebook Pass & 50GB for 10GB Larut Malam Pass
    2. 15 days pass – 150GB for 10GB Facebook Pass & 150GB for 10GB Larut Malam Pass

  1. For any data usage within the applicable service/time, the data from Free 10GB Facebook & 10GB Larut Malam Pass will be utilized first.


Things we may do to the Promo

  1. We reserve the rights at any time without being liable to you or any third party to interrupt, bar, suspend, restrict the Service(s) for such time as we see fit or terminate, discontinue or disconnect the Service(s) if your usage:
    1. shows excessive usage or placing unusual burdens on the network;
    2. is for unlawful activities or for suspected fraudulent activities;
    3. is not in accordance with the Maxis Fair Usage Policy (at www.maxis.com.my/FUP)
    4. is for commercial/non-personal purposes.
