RM 5 Credit with Hotlink & Snapchat

  1. The campaign title is “RM 5 Credit with Hotlink & Snapchat” (“Campaign”).

  2. The campaign period is from 22nd May 2020 until 20th June 2020, both dates inclusive (“Campaign Period”).

  3. How to Participate:
    1. Participant must download the Snapchat app using Hotlink mobile internet.
    2. Open the Snapchat app, tap ‘Sign Up’ and enter user’s name, birthday, preferred Snapchat username and password to create a new account.
    3. Select either mobile number or email to complete the account security verification.Click on Touch ‘n Go eWallet and choose a top up amount.
    4. Add at least one (1) or more friends from Participant’s contact list or go to the account page and tap ‘Add Friends’ to do so.

  4. Credit and Eligibility:
    1. Only Hotlink users are eligible to participate in the Campaign.
    2. Participants must use their Hotlink mobile internet to download the Snapchat app and add a friend on the app.
    3. Participant must be a new user of Snapchat app. New user is defined as a user who does not have any Snapchat app usage in the past 90 days from the commencement date of the Campaign.
    4. Participant must add at least (1) friend or have any Snapchat app data usage above 1MB within the Campaign Period.
    5. The credit worth RM5 will be credited to the first 50,000 Hotlink participants that meet the eligibility criteria during the Campaign Period. The Campaign will cease once the total credit limit has been fully utilised or at the completion of the Campaign Period, whichever is earlier.
    6. The RM 5 will be credited into the Hotlink participant account within ten (10) working days after the completion of the participation steps in clause 3 stated above.
    7. Each eligible participant can only receive one (1) time credit throughout the Campaign.
    8. The Hotlink account must not be terminated for any reason whatsoever during the Campaign Period.

  5. This Campaign is organized by Maxis Broadband Sdn Bhd ('Hotlink') and is open to all Hotlink prepaid subscribers (Hotlink tourist SIM excluded) who-
    1. are at least 18 years of age. Hotlink user below the age of 18 years must obtain written parental consent to participate, a copy of which is to be made available to Maxis upon request at any time. In the event the parent of the Hotlink user (“Parent”) allows the Hotlink user to participate in this Campaign, the Parent acknowledges and agrees that the terms and conditions contained herein shall be binding upon the Parent.

  6. By participating in this Campaign, you agree to be bound by the Terms & Conditions contained herein and Maxis Privacy Statement at https://www.maxis.com.my/privacy-statement/. In addition to these Terms & Conditions, the terms and conditions applicable for the use of the content and/or service, including terms and conditions for the use of the relevant content and/or service shall apply to you. Failure to comply with any applicable terms, conditions, rules, regulations, instructions or methods shall result in you being disqualified from the Campaign.

  7. Hotlink reserves the right-
    1. to change, amend, revise, supplement, delete, vary or add to these Terms & Conditions without prior notice at any time and you shall be bound to such changes, amendments, revisions, supplements, deletions, variations or additions;
    2. at any time, change any aspect of the Campaign from time to time (including the credit mechanic) with prior notice publish on Hotlink website; and
    3. at its sole discretion to cancel, suspend, modify or delay the Campaign or in the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond its reasonable control. By continued participation in this Campaign, you will be deemed to have accepted any changes, amendments, revisions, supplements, deletions, variations or additions, which may be published at www.hotlink.com.my
  8. This Campaign and the credit are provided on an "AS IS" basis without any Hotlink’s representations or warranties of any kind whether express or implied. Hotlink, its related and affiliated corporations disclaim and exclude all warranties relating to or in connection with the Campaign and the credit including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purposes, security and accuracy.

  9. In no event shall Hotlink, its related and affiliated corporations, sponsors, agencies and representatives be liable to you or to anyone else for any loss or injury or any direct, indirect, special, exemplary, consequential damages, or any damages whatsoever, whether in contract, negligence or in tort, arising out of or in connection the Campaign.

  10. Hotlink is not responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction, unauthorized access to, or alteration of, user or member communications, or any problems or technical malfunction of our telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of e-mail or players on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet.

  11. The Terms and Conditions stated herein shall be governed by the Laws of Malaysia and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Malaysia.

  12. All other applicable terms and conditions shall apply.
