Hotlink Tourist SIM - Terms & Conditions

    1. The Plan(s): Hotlink Tourist SIM
    2. The Plan(s) and Service(s) is subject to the General Terms & Conditions ("GTC"), Service Specific Terms & Conditions ("SSTC"), Maxis Fair Usage Policy and any other applicable terms and conditions, all at maxis.com.my/FUP and www.hotlink.com.my/tnc (collectively referred to as “the Agreement”).
    3. Capitalised terms herein have the same meaning as defined in the GTC./a>
    4. Any conflict or inconsistency between this SSTC, the GTC and Summary Terms and Conditions ("STC"), shall be construed in the following order of precedence: (a) SSTC; (b) GTC; and (c) STC.
    5. We reserve the rights without liability, to revise this SSTC, Plan(s) and our pricing. Where reasonably practicable, we will give you reasonable advance notice of such changes and all previous versions of our user guides or leaflets will be superseded. You accept you are responsible for regularly reviewing information on the Plan(s) and Service(s) at www.maxis.com.my/tnc/personal, including changes to the Agreement. Your continued use of the Service(s) and/or Plan(s) (after the Effective Date of any revision/change to the terms and conditions of Services and/or Plan(s)) shall constitute unconditional acceptance by you of such revisions/changes and you shall be bound by the same. If you do not accept such revisions/changes, you will terminate the Plan(s) and/or the use of the Services by giving us notice within 28 days from the Effective Date failing which you are assumed to have accepted the changes.
    1. The Hotlink Tourist SIM will give you an Active Period of 15 days.
    2. After the Active Period ends all balance from credit & Mobile Internet passes will be forfeited from usage & your line will be terminated.
Hotlink Tourist SIM Preloaded Benefits

    1. The Hotlink Tourist SIM comes with 8GB worth of free high speed internet quota which is valid for 15 (fifteen) days from the point of activation. Upon exhaustion of the free data; customer will still be able to surf the internet at throttled speeds.
      If you purchase any additional internet quota / passes; the free 8GB allocation will be deducted before any purchased quota (if any).
      Free 60 minutes local calls & 60 minutes IDD calls to China & India
    2. The free 60 minute(s) local call is applicable to all networks across Malaysia (off & on peak).
      This allocation is applicable only once upon activation and is valid for 15 days.
    3. The free 60 minute IDD calls is applicable to all networks in India or China (or a combination).
      This allocation is applicable only once upon activation and is valid for 15 days.
    4. Any additional calls outside the 2 free quotas mentioned above will be charged accordingly at RM 0.30 per minute.

    1. Hotlink Tourist SIM customers are entitled to purchase internet passes, as set out below:

    1. You can subscribe to multiple internet passes at any point of time as the passes are stackable. The quota is applicable to all Maxis networks including 2G/3G/4G LTE.
    1. FREE 10GB Facebook on Hotlink Tourist SIM refers to any usage of internet on the Facebook application, applicable on all Maxis networks including 2G/3G/4G LTE.
    2. This service is FREE over the Active Period only, and is subject to a monthly Fair Usage Policy (FUP) of 10GB per month. Upon exhaustion of the FUP quota, the internet quota from internet passes purchased by the customer will be utilized. In the event the customer has not purchased or has exhausted the internet quota of such internet passes, the internet quota from the FREE Social Chat will then be utilized.
    3. Internet tethering services is allowed with the FREE 10GB Facebook, and is subject to a speed limit of 5 Mbps.
    1. To enjoy the Hotlink Tourist SIM merchant benefits; you will need to:
      1. retain both the Hotlink Tourist SIM packaging & SIM card; and
      2. resent both the Hotlink Tourist SIM packaging & SIM card to the concierge of participating shopping malls / merchants in exchange for the participating shopping malls / merchant’s tourist card to enjoy special benefits / discounts.
    2. A list of participating shopping malls and participating merchants can be found at . It can also be accessed via the QR code found on the Hotlink Tourist SIM packaging.
    3. Maxis reserve the right to add, remove, and/or review participating shopping malls and participating merchants as it sees fit.
    4. Discounts & benefits will be reviewed without prior notice to the customer.
    1. All existing Hotlink customers of any plan is not entitled to migrate to the Hotlink Tourist SIM.
    2. Customers are not allowed to port-in or out of the Hotlink Tourist SIM.
    1. We reserve the rights at any time without being liable to you or any third party to interrupt, bar, suspend, restrict the Service(s) for such time as we see fit or terminate, discontinue or disconnect the Service(s) if your usage:
      1. shows excessive usage or placing unusual burdens on the network;
      2. is for unlawful activities or for suspected fraudulent activities;
      3. is not in accordance with the Maxis Fair Usage Policy (at www.maxis.com.my/FUP)
        d. is for commercial/non-personal purposes.
