• General

  1. This is the terms and conditions of Hotlink & TGV Campaign (“Campaign”) promoted by Maxis Broadband Sdn Bhd (“Maxis”) in collaboration with TGV Cinemas Sdn Bhd (“TGV”).
  2. You: Person(s) who participate(s) in this Campaign subject to this Campaign Terms & Conditions. 
  3. Campaign Period: 1st May 2024 to 31st July 2024 (both dates inclusive) or earlier subject to availability of Reward.
     
  4. Hotlink Prepaid SIM pack: The Hotlink Prepaid SIM pack with RM0 credit balance which you are required to collect and activate in accordance with Clause 13 and Clause 14 below.
  5. Reward: Two (2) TGV voucher codes for one (1) movie ticket each, entitling you to movie experience at TGV Deluxe hall (excluding IMAX ®, INDULGE, INFINITY, PRESTIGE, special screening, concerts or movie-related events), subject to TGV Terms and Conditions at https://www.tgv.com.my/terms-conditions.
  6. This Campaign and your use of the Service(s) are subject to the General Terms & Conditions (“GTC”) at https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/hotlink/general/, this Campaign Terms and Conditions, Maxis Fair Usage Policy (“FUP”) accessible at www.maxis.com.my/FUP and any other applicable terms and conditions, all available at https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/hotlink/.
  7. Capitalised terms herein have the same meaning as defined in the GTC. 
  8. Any conflict or inconsistency between this Campaign Terms & Conditions and the GTC shall be construed in the following order of precedence: (a) Campaign Terms & Conditions; and (b) GTC. 
  9. Maxis reserves the rights without liability, to revise this Campaign Terms & Conditions and the Campaign. Where reasonably practicable, we will give you reasonable advance notice of such changes and all previous versions will be superseded. You agree and accept that you are responsible for regularly reviewing information on the Campaign at https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/campaigns/hotlink-and-tgv-promotion.
     

• Eligibility

  10. To be eligible to participate in this Campaign, you must:
      1. be at least 18 years of age;
      2. have less than five (5) active Hotlink prepaid lines;
      3. be a resident in Malaysia with a valid ID, i.e. MyKad, Passport, iKad, MyPR, MyTentera & MyKas; and
         
      4. have a valid email address.
  11. Participants of this Campaign shall mean the person who are eligible to participate in this Campaign, and shall be subject to proof of eligibility and suitability requirements as stipulated within this terms and conditions and as determined by Maxis. 
  12. Notwithstanding the above, your eligibility to participate in the Campaign and Maxis giving out of the Rewards are subject to our absolute discretion.
      

• Campaign Mechanics

  13. To participate in this Campaign, you are required to:
      1. activate the Hotlink Prepaid SIM pack you collected via Hotlink app in accordance with Clause 13 and Clause 14 below through self-registration following the steps at https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/plan/sim-self-registration/;
      2. perform a top-up of Hotlink Prepaid credits; and
      3. purchase any of the following 30-day Internet Passes in the Hotlink app within seven (7) days of activation:
         1. Hotlink Pantas 20GB (RM25),
            
         2. Hotlink Pantas 40GB (RM35),
         3. Hotlink Unlimited 6mbps (4G/5G) (RM40), or
         4. Hotlink Unlimited 12mbps (4G/5G) (RM50),
         which applicable terms and conditions are at https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/products/prepaid/hotlink-prepaid/.
  14. To participate in this Campaign, you are required to:
      1. complete and submit an application form at https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/campaigns/hotlink-and-tgv-promotion/, where you are required to provide your name, NRIC, email address, university/college name (if currently a student), and the TGV location which you wish to collect your Hotlink Prepaid SIM pack; and
      2. present a screenshot of the submitted application form, and your last four (4) digits of your NRIC (i.e., MyKad, Passport, iKad, MyPR, MyTentera & MyKas) to the TGV Customer Relations Officer at the respective TGV location indicated in the application form for verification and record purposes. In this regard, you accept, agree and authorize the TGV Customer Relations Officer to request for your NRIC for the said purposes, failing which, you will not be entitled to receive the Hotlink Prepaid SIM pack and the Reward.
         

• Reward

  15. Subject to your fulfilment of the conditions in Clause 10 to Clause 14 (both inclusive) above, the Reward will be communicated and delivered to you via SMS to the Hotlink Prepaid MSISDN which you used to register the Hotlink Prepaid SIM pack, by the 15th of the following calendar month depending on the month of which you fulfil the conditions set out in Clause 10 to Clause 14 (both inclusive) above. For instance, if you satisfy the criteria in Clause 10 to Clause 14 (both inclusive) within 1^st May 2024 to 31^st May 2024, you will receive the SMS by 15 June 2024. 
      
  16. The Reward is valid for redemption until 31 October 2024. 
  17. You are required and responsible to redeem the Reward before 31 October 2024 by inserting the voucher code communicated to you, vide SMS referenced in paragraph 15 above, via TGV app at checkout session.
  18. Each Hotlink Prepaid user is entitled to enjoy the Reward, one (1) time only, throughout the Campaign Period.
  19. The Reward is limited to first 10,000 eligible participants. The Campaign will terminate once the Reward has been fully issued to eligible participants or at the expiration of the Campaign Period, whichever is earlier.
      

• Restrictions

  20. You are not entitled to the Reward if any of the following occurs:
      1. breach of this Campaign Terms & Conditions;
      2. failure to activate the Hotlink Prepaid SIM pack;
      3. termination or suspension of the Hotlink Prepaid account is terminated Prepaid account you registered for pursuant to this Campaign Terms and Conditions;
      4. you have ported out during the Campaign Period;
      5. change or transfer ownership of the Hotlink Prepaid account you registered for pursuant to this Campaign Terms and Conditions to another person during the Campaign Period.

• Use of information

  21. By applying to participate in the Campaign, you confirm and agree to Maxis processing your Personal Data as defined under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 in accordance with Maxis Group Privacy Notice at https://www.maxis.com.my/en/privacy-notice/ for the purposes of the Campaign and promotional activities.
      

• Additional Features & Requirements

  22. This Campaign and the Reward are provided on an "AS IS" basis without any representations or warranties of any kind whether express or implied. Maxis, its related and affiliated corporations disclaim and exclude all warranties relating to or in connection with the Campaign and the Reward including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purposes, security and accuracy.
  23. Maxis is not an agent, subsidiary or affiliate of TGV and make no representation or warranties as to the quality, merchantability, fitness of the Reward and shall not be liable for any loss and damages suffered from the use of the Reward. 
  24. The Reward is strictly for personal use only, not to be resale, and not exchangeable for cash. Any Reward unutilized and/or unredeemed are not encashable, returnable and/or refundable. 
  25. Maxis’ decision on the selection of participants who are eligible and entitled to the Reward shall be final and conclusive and Maxis shall entertain no correspondence, complaint, or appeal at any time during or after the Campaign Period.
  26. In no event shall Maxis, TGV, its related and affiliated corporations, sponsors, agencies and representatives be liable to you or to anyone else for any loss or injury or any direct, indirect, special, exemplary, consequential damages, or any damages whatsoever, whether in contract, negligence or in tort, arising out of or in connection the Campaign, and your participation in the Campaign.
  27. Maxis & TGV shall not be liable to the participants or for any other party for any loss or damage of whatsoever nature suffered by a participant or such other party as a result of participation or non-participation in the Campaign or as a result of any act or omission on the part of Maxis.
  28. Maxis & TGV is not responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction, unauthorized access to, or alteration of, user or member communications, or any problems or technical malfunction of our telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of e-mail or players on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet.
  29. Maxis & TGV reserves the right, in its sole discretion, without prior notice, to disqualify any participant that is found or suspected of tampering with the operation of this Campaign or to be in violation of the terms and conditions.
  30. We reserve the rights at any time without being liable to you or any third party to interrupt, bar, suspend, restrict the Campaign and/or Service(s) for such time as we see fit or terminate, discontinue or disconnect the Campaign and/or Service(s) if your usage:
      1. shows excessive usage or placing unusual burdens on the network;
      2. is for unlawful activities or for suspected fraudulent activities;
      3. is not in accordance with FUP; and/or
      4. is for commercial/non-personal purposes.
  31. The terms and conditions stated herein shall be governed by the Laws of Malaysia and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
