Hotlink Postpaid Device Contract

  • Hotlink Postpaid device contract allows Hotlink Postpaid customers to own the latest smartphones for free or at a much lower price compared to device recommended retail price (RRP).

    Customers can choose from a wide range of phones and pair it with Hotlink Postpaid 70 plan on a 12 or 24-months contract. Selected models are also available on Hotlink Postpaid 60.

  • All consumers aged 18 years old and above that are either:

    • New customers
    • Customers porting-in from other service providers
    • Existing Hotlink Postpaid subscribers
    • Upgrading from Hotlink Prepaid to Hotlink Postpaid
  • You can sign up at any Maxis Store, selected Hotlink dealers, or make things easier by purchasing through the Hotlink Online Store:

    • Head to https://store.hotlink.com.my/
    • Pick your preferred phone model, rate plan, and contract duration, then click ‘Add to cart’.
    • Complete the validation via TAC and click ‘Checkout’ to enter your personal and delivery/collection details.
    • Acknowledge the terms and conditions, make your payment, and you're done!
  • Here's what you'll need to pay when signing up for a device contract with Hotlink Postpaid:

    1. Device price / device upfront payment.
    2. Refundable device advance payment.
    3. For foreigners, refundable deposit of up to RM150 applies.
    1. Device Upfront: A payment for the phone itself. It's non-refundable. The amount varies, and some phones require RM0 upfront.
    2. Device Advance Payment: A deposit that is returned to you. It's credited back to your monthly bills over your 12 or 24-month contract.
    3. Example:

  • Yes, if you meet our credit policy and have a valid passport. A refundable deposit may be required, depending on your customer status with Maxis. Promotions may have different terms and conditions. Applications will be subject to review and approval.

  • Hotlink Postpaid Device Contract is subject to Maxis' Device Contract policy and will be tied to either the Hotlink Postpaid 60 or 70 plan for the contract duration of your choice: 12, 24, or 36 months.

    If you downgrade to any of these plans (Hotlink Prepaid, Hotlink Postpaid 30, 45 or 60, Maxis Family Plan, or Maxis Postpaid Share 48) or terminate your plan during the contract, you'll be charged an Early Termination Fee (ETF) as follows:

    Penalty Amount = [(Recommended Retail Price (RRP) – Upfront Cost) x (Remaining month(s) ÷ 12/24/36 months)] + RM 100

    • Note: There will be no ETF charged if you upgrade to Maxis Postpaid 79 or above.
