Hotlink Uni Legends is a platform created by Hotlink that empowers university students to run their dream events on campus. Selected proposals can receive a full sponsorship by Hotlink to bring campus event ideas to life!

The challenge is open to all active students from public universities in Malaysia.

Event categories are not limited! You're free to propose any event that is relevant to your audience and showcase your creativity. We encourage you to think outside the box and develop innovative event concepts that will engage your campus community.

Your event proposal must be endorsed by a lecturer and submitted through the google form mentioned in Hotlink Uni Legends page.
These are the steps to submit your event proposal:
- Develop your event concept that meets the requirements
- Get your proposal endorsed by a lecturer
- Submit your proposal via google form mentioned in Hotlink Uni Legends page

Your event must:
- Be 1-5 days in duration
- Reach over 5,000 pax (eg. students, public attendees)
- Be held on campus
- Free entry for students
- Be scheduled between October to December 2025
- Be endorsed by a lecturer

No, your event must offer free entry for students.

Your proposal should include:
- Event concept and detailed implementation plan
- Expected attendance (minimum 5,000 students)
- Event venue details (must be on campus)
- Event duration (1-5 days)
- Proposed dates (must be between October-December 2025)
- Budget breakdown
- Marketing and promotion strategy
- How your event aligns with Hotlink's brand values

Yes, all proposals must be submitted between 1 June – 15 July 2025.

Proposals will be evaluated based on:
- Youth Engagement: Effectiveness in engaging and benefiting students
- Feasibility & Planning: Realistic and well-structured event plan
- Impact & Reach: Potential impact and reach of the event
- Innovation & Creativity: Uniqueness and creativity of the concept
- Relevancy to Hotlink's proposition

If shortlisted, you'll be invited to present your proposal in person to a panel of judges at Menara Maxis or another designated venue on 1 August 2025. This pitching process will be filmed for social media content.

Yes! We cover transportation for participants who are shortlisted for the pitching stage. You'll also be given a meal allowance during your visit to present your proposal.
This support ensures that all shortlisted students can attend the pitching session at Menara Maxis or other designated venue on 1 August 2025, regardless of where you're located in Malaysia.

Up to RM600,000 from the total funding pool will be distributed to the winning proposals (up to 3 event proposals will be selected).

Funding will be credited directly to your university treasury. All event costs should be drawn from the university account.

Hotlink will provide:
- Reward partnerships (F&B, fashion/gadget, entertainment)
- Free SIM packs for event attendees
- Enhanced network coverage at the event venue
- Professional content creation team for social media coverage
- Press release distribution
- Cross-promotion on Hotlink channels

You'll be responsible for:
- Event concept execution and on-ground management
- Ensuring minimum attendance of 5,000, including students and public
- Securing appropriate campus location (with university support)
- Event setup and logistics
- Technical production elements
- Creating authentic student-generated content
- Submitting a Post Campaign Report within 30 days after the event

Yes, Hotlink will conduct bi-weekly check-ins with winners to ensure event success and provide support where needed.
