Step 3

Prepare your identification card or passport for user verification, and complete the installation in the app.

Step 4

Upon successful installation, your eSIM profile will be ready for use within a few minutes!

Keep your current line active.
Clear all outstanding bills or contracts with your provider.
Ensure the number you're switching is registered under your ID (verify using the step on the left).

Step 3

Your SIM pack will be delivered to your doorstep within 3 to 5 working days and will be auto-activated upon delivery.

Step 4

Receive a port-out SMS confirmation from your current service provider. Make sure you and your supplimentary line(s) (if any) reply to the confirmation SMS within the specified time.

Step 5

Once your port-in request is successful and your current connection is disconnected, replace your SIM card and start using your Hotlink plan.

Yes, you can upgrade from Hotlink Prepaid to Hotlink Postpaid and keep your existing number. Any unused prepaid credit will be transferred to your postpaid phone plan account and reflected in your first bill.

You can upgrade at any Hotlink or Maxis store, or online via the Hotlink Online Store.

What is the difference between Maxis and Hotlink Postpaid?

Here’s how it works:

Service & Device Bundle: Get a new postpaid phone at a discounted price or through monthly instalments.
Monthly Bill: You will be billed at the end of each cycle for your postpaid plan and device.
Payment Options: Pay online, via banking, or through auto-debit.
Commitment Period: Typically 12–24 months.
Credit Check: Required for approval.
