Service Specific Terms & Conditions  – Super Streamer Pass (“SSTC”)

Service Specific Terms & Conditions – Super Streamer Pass (“SSTC”)

    1. Offer: Super Streamer Pass.
    2. Hotlink Participating Plan(s):
      1. any Hotlink Prepaid plan(s) with an active monthly internet pass of RM25 and above;
      2. Hotlink Postpaid 30;
      3. Hotlink Postpaid 45;
      4. Hotlink Postpaid 60; and
      5. Hotlink Postpaid 70.
    3. You: Person(s) signing up for the Offer.
    4. This Offer and use of the Service(s) is subject to the General Terms & Conditions (“GTC”) at, this Service Specific Terms & Conditions – Super Streamer Pass (“SSTC”), Maxis Fair Usage Policy at and any other applicable terms and conditions, all
    5. Any conflict or inconsistency between this SSTC, the GTC and Summary Terms and Conditions (“STC”), shall be construed in the following order of precedence: (a) SSTC; (b) GTC; and (c) STC.
    6. We reserve the rights without liability, to revise this SSTC, the Offer and our pricing. Where reasonably practicable, we will give you reasonable advance notice of such changes and all previous versions of our user guides or leaflets will be superseded. You agree and accept that you are responsible for regularly reviewing information on the plan(s) and Service(s) including changes to the Agreement. Your continued use of the Offer, Service(s), and/or plan(s) (after the Effective Date of any revision/change to the terms and conditions of the Agreement, Offer, Service(s), and/or plan(s)) shall constitute unconditional acceptance by you of such revisions/changes and you shall be bound by the same. If you do not accept such revisions/changes, you may terminate the Agreement, Offer, plan(s) and/or the use of the Service(s) by giving us notice within twenty-eight (28) days from the Effective Date, failing which you are assumed to have accepted the changes.
    1. To enjoy the Offer, you must be an existing or new customer of Maxis who:
      1. is a Hotlink subscriber;
      2. is a resident in Malaysia;
      3. is at least 18 years of age. Users below the age of 18 years old must obtain written parental consent to participate, a copy of which is to be made available to Maxis upon request at any time. In the event the parent of the Hotlink user (“Parent”) allows the Hotlink user to participate in this Promotion, the Parent acknowledges and agrees that the terms and conditions contained herein shall be binding upon the Parent; and
      4. has signed up and maintains an active account under the Hotlink Participating Plan. If you subscribe to Hotlink Prepaid plan, you need to have an active monthly internet pass of RM25 and above.
    2. Further to Clause 7 above, you are ineligible for this Offer if:
      1. you owe have any outstanding payments, barred or suspended account with us; and/or
      2. you are a commercial user and/or bulk subscriber.
    3. Notwithstanding the above, Maxis reserves the right to change the eligibility criteria for this Offer from time to time.

      1. Free access pass to any one of the following video streaming providers on a monthly basis (“Access Pass”):
        1. sooka Sports & Entertainment;
        2. Viu; and
        3. iQIYI.
    1. You may purchase multiple Access Pass to access different video streaming providers as set out in Clause 10 above.
    1. You are responsible for payment of all Charges associated with the Hotlink Participating Plan(s) and the Access Pass(es). Charges exclude applicable taxes.
    2. You will be notified of applicable Charges of your Access Pass(es) via SMS to your registered number within seventy-two (72) hours prior to expiration of the Access Pass(es) purchased.
    1. You can purchase the Access Pass through your Hotlink app.
    2. You will need to register and set up your account with the relevant video streaming provider(s) which you have selected before you can start streaming on the platform of such video streaming provider(s).
    3. The Access Pass(es) will expire thirty (30) days from the day of purchase. You may continue to purchase the Access Pass(es) via Hotlink app at “Myhotlink” section or by logging into your account at
    1. If you wish to terminate the Access Pass(es), you may terminate the Access via Hotlink app at “Myhotlink” section or by logging into your account at
    2. In the event you terminate the Access Pass(es) before expiration of the Access Pass(es), you can still enjoy the Access Pass(es) up until the expiration date.
    1. This Offer and Access Pass(es) are provided on an "AS IS" basis without any representations or warranties of any kind whether express or implied. Maxis, its related and affiliated corporations disclaim and exclude all warranties relating to or in connection with the Offer and Access Pass(es).
    2. Maxis’ decision on your eligibility and entitlement to the Offer and Access Pass(es) shall be final and conclusive and Maxis shall entertain no correspondence, complaint, or appeal.
    3. This Offer and Access Pass(es) are not valid with other ongoing promotions and not exchangeable for cash or credit-in-kind. Any Offer and Access Pass(es) unutilized and/or unredeemed is not encashable, returnable and/or refundable.
    4. Maxis is not an agent, subsidiary or affiliate of Viu, iQIYI and sooka Sports & Entertainment, and make no representation or warranties as to the quality and accessibility of the streaming platforms and content, and shall not be liable for any loss and damages suffered from streaming on such video streaming service provider’s platforms.
    5. Maxis is not responsible for any content streamed, broadcasted and/or published in Viu, iQIYI and sooka Sports & Entertainment and/or any activity carried out thereon.
    6. In no event shall Maxis, its related and affiliated corporations, sponsors, agencies and representatives be liable to you or to anyone else for any loss or injury or any direct, indirect, special, exemplary, consequential damages, or any damages whatsoever, whether in contract, negligence or in tort, arising out of or in connection the Offer and Access Pass(es).
    7. Maxis is not responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction, unauthorized access to, or alteration of, user or member communications, or any problems or technical malfunction of our telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of e-mail or players on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet.
    8. We reserve the rights at any time without being liable to you or any third party to interrupt, bar, suspend, restrict the Offer, Access Pass(es) and/or Service(s) for such time as we see fit or terminate, discontinue or disconnect the Offer, Access Pass(es) and/or Service(s) if your usage:
      1. shows excessive usage or placing unusual burdens on the Network;
      2. is for unlawful activities or for suspected fraudulent activities;
      3. is not in accordance with FUP; and/or
      4. is for commercial/non-personal purposes.
    9. The terms and conditions stated herein shall be governed by the Laws of Malaysia and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
