Terms & Conditions

Service Specific Terms & Conditions (“SSTC”) – RM9.90 Monthly Internet Data 2X Pass with complimentary with 30 days of sooka Sports & Entertainment access (Mobile Only)

    1. Promotion: RM9.90 Monthly Internet Data 2X Pass with complimentary 30 days of sooka Sports & Entertainment access (Mobile Only) (“MI Service”) streaming service with Hotlink Postpaid 45, Hotlink Postpaid 60 and/or Hotlink Postpaid 70.
    2. You: Hotlink Postpaid 45, 60 or 70 subscriber(s) who purchase(s) Eligible Internet Pass and sign(s) up for the Promotion. 
    3. Eligible Internet Pass: RM9.90 Monthly Internet Data 2X Pass with complimentary 30 days of sooka Sports & Entertainment access (Mobile Only) under Hotlink Postpaid 45, 60 and/or 70, which terms and conditions are at https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/products/postpaid/sstc/
    4. Benefit: Complimentary 30-days sooka Sports & Entertainment access (Mobile Only) when you subscribe for a RM9.90 Monthly Internet Data 2X Pass.
    5. Promotion Period: 25th June 2025 until further notice or such other period as determined by Maxis.
    6. This Promotion and your use of Service(s) are subject to the General Terms & Conditions ("GTC") at https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/hotlink/general, the Summary Terms & Conditions (“STC”) at https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/general/summary/, this Service Specific Terms & Conditions – RM9.90 Monthly Internet Data 2X Pass with complimentary 30 days of sooka Sports & Entertainment access (Mobile Only) (“SSTC”), the Hotlink Postpaid SSTC, the Service Specific Terms & Conditions – Maxis TV ("Maxis TV SSTC") https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/products-services/entertainment/maxis-tv/, Maxis Fair Usage Policy (“FUP”) and any other applicable terms and conditions, all at https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/
    7. Capitalised terms herein have the same meaning as defined in the GTC.
    8. Any conflict or inconsistency between this SSTC, the GTC and Summary Terms and Conditions (“STC”), shall be construed in the following order of precedence: (a) SSTC; (b) GTC; and (c) STC.
    9. We reserve the rights without liability, to revise this SSTC, the GTC, Promotion and our pricing at our sole discretion. Where reasonably practicable, we will give you reasonable advance notice of such changes and all previous versions of our user guides or leaflets will be superseded. You accept that you are responsible for regularly reviewing information on the plan(s) and Service(s) www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/hotlink/, including changes to the Agreement. Your continued use of the Promotion, Service(s), and/or plan(s) (after the Effective Date of any revision/change to the terms and conditions of the Agreement, Promotion, Services, and/or plan(s)) shall constitute unconditional acceptance by you of such revisions/changes and you shall be bound by the same. If you do not accept such revisions/changes, you will terminate the Promotion, plan(s) and/or the use of the Services by giving us written notice within twenty (28) days from the Effective Date, failing which you are deemed to have accepted the changes.
    1. In order to be eligible to participate in the Promotion, you must be:
      1. an active Hotlink Postpaid 45, 60 and/or 70 subscriber with an active Monthly Internet Data 2X Pass Internet Pass;
      2. a resident in Malaysia;
      3. at least 18 years of age. Participants below the age of 18 years old must obtain written parental consent to subscribe, a copy of which is to be made available to Maxis upon request at any time. In the event the parent of the Hotlink user (“Parent”) allows the Hotlink user to subscribe to the Pass, the Parent acknowledges and agrees that the terms and conditions contained herein shall be binding upon the Parent.
    2. You are ineligible for MI Service if you have any outstanding payments with us.
    3.  This Product is not applicable to you if you are a commercial user and/or bulk subscriber.
    4.  Notwithstanding the above, Maxis reserves the right to alter the eligibility criteria for this Promotion from time to time.
    1. You may subscribe for the MI Service via UMB or Hotlink app.
    2.  Once you have subscribed to the MI Service, you will have to wait for an SMS confirming    activation of the MI Service before using the MI Service.
    3.  All the available Hotlink postpaid data packages and applicable rates are capped based on the time/usage (quota entitlement), which are set out in the attached MI Service Appendix.
    4.  The Hotlink Postpaid 45, 60 and/or 70 RM9.90 Monthly Internet Data 2X Pass, which includes complimentary 30-day sooka Sports & Entertainment access (Mobile Only), is categorized and referred to as a “Auto-renew Pass” with pass validity of 30 days or until the end of the bill cycle, whichever comes first.
    5.  While an Auto-renew Pass is still valid:
      1.  you cannot purchase another Auto-renew Pass. At the end of your bill cycle, the Auto-renew Pass will be automatically renewed, and the monthly volume entitlement will be refreshed.
      2.  You will be charged the full commitment fee with full mobile internet package allocation from the first month. You can opt to terminate your Auto-renew pass by calling our Contact Centres (123).
    6.  Maxis reserves the rights in its sole and absolute discretion to withdraw or to modify the terms of this Service(s) and/or Promotion (including the monthly renewal fee and applicable charges) at any time without notice to you and with no liability.
    7.  This Promotion is not valid with other ongoing promotion and not exchangeable for cash or credit-in-kind. The Promotion cannot be stacked, combined and/or accumulated unless stated otherwise.
    8.  Maxis is not responsible for any content streamed, broadcasted and/or published in sooka and/or any activity carried out thereon.

     

    1. The sooka Sports & Entertainment 30 Days (Mobile Only) subscription under this Promotion is strictly for access in Malaysia only.
    2.  You must activate your complimentary 30-day sooka Sports & Entertainment access (Mobile Only) via https://lifestyle.maxis.com.my/en/entertainment to enjoy it under this Promotion.
    3.  You may check your Promotion subscription details at https://lifestyle.maxis.com.my/en/entertainment or sooka mobile and web application.
    4.  You may unsubscribe from the sooka Sports & Entertainment 30 Days (Mobile Only) service at any time via https://lifestyle.maxis.com.my/en/entertainment or from sooka app. After the unsubscription of sooka Sports & Entertainment 30 Days (Mobile Only) service is done, you will continue to have access to sooka Sports & Entertainment 30 Days (Mobile Only) streaming service until the end of your billing cycle for sooka Sports & Entertainment 30 Days (Mobile Only) service that particular month which you have unsubscribed for.
    5.  Maxis reserves the rights in its sole and absolute discretion to withdraw, terminate or to modify the terms of this Promotion, Benefit and/or Service (including the monthly renewal fee and applicable charges) at any time without notice to you and with no liability.
    1. The Promotion and Benefit are provided on an "AS IS" basis without any representations or warranties of any kind whether express or implied. Maxis, its related and affiliated corporations disclaim and exclude all warranties relating to or in connection with the Promotion and Benefit including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purposes, security and accuracy.
    2.  The Promotion and Benefit are not exchangeable for cash. This Promotion is NOT: (a) exchangeable with cash, credit or any form of monetary value; and (b) transferable to anyone, including other Maxis / Hotlink subscribers once it has been successfully redeemed. Any Benefit unutilized and/or unredeemed are not encashable, returnable and/or refundable.
    3. In no event shall Maxis, its related and affiliated corporations, sponsors, agencies and representatives be liable to you or to anyone else for any loss or injury or any direct, indirect, special, exemplary, consequential damages, or any damages whatsoever, whether in contract, negligence or in tort, arising out of or in connection with the Pass. 
    4.  We reserve the rights at any time without being liable to you or any third party to interrupt, bar, suspend, restrict the Promotion, Benefit and/or Service(s) for such time as we see fit or terminate, discontinue or disconnect the Promotion, Benefit and/or Service(s) if your usage:
      1. shows excessive usage or placing unusual burdens on the network;
      2. is for unlawful activities or for suspected fraudulent activities;
      3. is not in accordance with FUP; and/or
      4. is for commercial/non-personal purposes.
    5. The terms and conditions stated herein shall be governed by the Laws of Malaysia and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
