Service Specific Terms & Conditions – Galloping Into Prosperity With Hotlinkmu & Maybank (“SSTC”)

The following terms and conditions (“Terms & Conditions”) shall apply to this Campaign (which details are set out below) organized by Maxis Broadband Sdn Bhd (“Maxis”). This Campaign is further subjected to General T&C for Hotlink Consumer at https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/general/ (“GTC”). In the event of conflict or inconsistency between GTC and the Terms & Conditions, the Terms & Conditions shall prevail to the extent of such conflict or inconsistency.

By participating in this Campaign, you agree to be bound by the GTC and Terms & Conditions.

CAMPAIGN PERIOD From 15 February 2026 00:30:00 to 14 March 2026 23:59:59 (both dates inclusive) or until full redemption of 16-digit top up PIN numbers, whichever the earlier.  
CAMPAIGN PARTNER Malayan Banking Berhad (“Maybank”).
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE (“ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA”)

All Hotlink prepaid subscribers:

  1. who are residents of Malaysia;
  2. whose Hotlink prepaid account tenure is thirty (30) days and above;
  3. who maintain an active Hotlink prepaid account during the Campaign Period;
  4. who are at least 18 years of age. If you are below the age of 18 years, you must obtain written parental consent to participate in the Campaign. A copy of which shall be made available to Maxis upon request at any time. In the event your parent (“Parent”) allows you to participate in this Campaign, the Parent acknowledges and agrees that the Terms & Conditions shall be binding upon the Parent;
  5. who have not performed any reload or top up using online banking sites / app, eWallet app or online banking, credit/debit card, eWallet payment method through Hotlink app; and
  6. who are not Hotlink Traveller SIM users,

(hereinafter referred to as “Eligible Hotlink Subscriber(s)”).
HOW TO PARTICIPATE (“PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS”)
  1. Eligible Hotlink Subscribers will be able to view the Campaign under the HotlinkMU Top Up offers via Hotlink app/UMB *100# and participate in the Campaign.
  2. To participate in the Campaign, you shall:
    1. claim the CNY Offer under the HotlinkMU Offers section, perform a Hotlink prepaid top up with the minimum amount of RM10 in a single transaction to your Hotlink prepaid account for Free RM1 credit instantly via:
      1. Maybank’s platform (i.e. Maybank current account or savings account, MAE account on Maybank2u website, M2U MY app, MAE app, Maybank credit/ debit card or Maybank2u on FPX); or
      2. Hotlink app using Maybank online banking OR Maybank credit/debit card.
    2. perform a minimum of three (3) transactions as stated in sub-paragraph (1) above within the Campaign Period.
BENEFIT
  1. 16-digit top up PIN numbers worth RM5 (“Top Up PIN”) will be given to Participants weekly on a “first come, first-served” basis during the Campaign Period.
  2. The 16-digit top up PIN numbers will be sent to you via SMS to your registered Hotlink mobile number used to participate in this Campaign within seven (7) working days after the HotlinkMU Top Up is performed.
  3. Each Participant is entitled to one (1) 16-digit top up PIN numbers throughout the Campaign Period.
YOU / YOUR / PARTICIPANTS Eligible Hotlink Subscribers who participate in this Campaign in accordance with Terms & Conditions.
  1. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA & PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS
    1. As a condition to participate in this Campaign, you must adhere to all the Eligibility Criteria and Participation Requirements.
    2. You may be requested to provide proof of eligibility as stipulated within these Terms & Conditions and as determined by Maxis.
    3. Maxis is not obligated to consider any Participant that does not meet the Eligibility Criteria or Participation Requirements.
    4. Failure to comply with any of the Eligibility Criteria or Participation Requirements, these Terms & Conditions, rules, or instructions shall result in you being disqualified from this Campaign at Maxis’ sole determination and absolute discretion.
    5. Maxis further reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify you if: (i) you are found or suspected to have tampered with the Campaign process; (ii) you are found to have made any derogatory, disparaging or critical remarks, comments or statements about Maxis or its Hotlink brand; or (iii) Maxis believes that you have undertaken fraudulent practice and/or activities or other activities damaging, destructive, or detrimental to the image and reputation of Maxis or its Hotlink brand. For the avoidance of doubt, fraudulent activities include but are not limited to any act of deceit, deception, cheating and/or misrepresentation of any kind.
  1. WINNER SELECTION & BENEFIT
    1. Maxis’ decision on the Top Up PIN winners (“Winner(s)”) shall be final and conclusive and no correspondence, complaint or appeal shall be entertained by Maxis at any time during or after the Campaign Period.
    2. All Top Up PIN are non-transferrable, non-assignable and non-exchangeable for cash or any other item. The Winner(s) is/are not entitled to demand or request for specific voucher conditions / requirements / preference.
    3. Maxis reserves the right to:
      1. replace or substitute the type of benefit and value of Top Up PIN as Maxis deems fit, in whole or in part, if Maxis is not able to provide the Top Up PIN as described for any reason; and
      2. revoke and seek the return of the Top Up PIN if Maxis finds that you have breached the Terms & Conditions stated herein. The method of return shall be determined by Maxis at its sole discretion and cost incurred to return the Top Up PIN to Maxis will be borne by the Participant.
    4. If any Winner chooses not to accept the Top Up PIN or benefit, as the case may be, for any reason whatsoever, he / she shall forfeit all claims to the said Top Up PIN or benefit, which will be dealt with, according to Maxis’ sole and absolute discretion.
  1. PERSONAL INFORMATION / PERSONAL DATA
    1. The personal information/personal data supplied by you when participating in this Campaign will be used by Maxis in accordance with Maxis Group Privacy Notice at https://www.maxis.com.my/en/privacy-notice/. Your participation in this Campaign is an agreement to be bound by Maxis Group Privacy Notice, which shall form an integral part of this Terms & Conditions.
    2. The personal information/personal data collected may be used in future by Maxis to provide you with further information about similar events and information in relation thereto, which you may opt out of by informing Maxis of your decision to do so. Your personal information/personal data is subject to the safeguards concerning privacy and security of data as set out in the Maxis Group Privacy Notice and the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (including any amendments thereto).
    3. You shall ensure that all personal information/personal data provided to Maxis are accurate and correct at the point of submission and that Maxis is kept informed and updated of any change in your personal information/personal data.
  1. Maxis reserves the rights:
    1. to change, amend, revise, supplement, delete, vary or add to these Terms & Conditions without prior notice at any time and you shall be bound to such changes, amendments, revisions, supplements, deletions, variations or additions;
    2. at any time, change any aspect of the Campaign (including the Top Up PIN and discontinuing the Campaign) without prior notice to you; and
    3. at its sole discretion to cancel, suspend, modify or delay the Campaign or in the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond its reasonable control. By continued participation in this Campaign, you will be deemed to have accepted any changes, amendments, revisions, supplements, deletions, variations or additions. 
  1. The Top Up PIN or any other benefit provided hereunder is provided on an "AS IS" basis without any representations or warranties of any kind whether express or implied. Maxis, its related and affiliated corporations disclaim and exclude all warranties relating to or in connection with the Top Up PIN including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purposes, security and accuracy. 
  2. In no event shall Maxis, its related and affiliated corporations, sponsors, agencies and representatives be liable to you or to anyone else for any loss or injury or any direct, indirect, special, exemplary, consequential damages, or any damages whatsoever, whether in contract, negligence or in tort, arising out of or in connection the Campaign.
  3. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold Maxis, its directors, officers, employees, representatives and agents and sponsors harmless from and against any and all claims, actions, suits or proceedings, as well as any and all losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or accruing from any non-compliance and breach by you of these Terms & Conditions or any breach of applicable laws.
  4. The Campaign and the Terms & Conditions shall in all respects be governed by the laws of Malaysia and shall be subjected to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia. However, it shall be your sole responsibility and obligation to ensure that you comply with and do not contravene with any laws to which you may be personally subject to.
