Service Specific Terms & Conditions –Hotlink: Menang Ahad x Hausboom Campaign (“SSTC”)

- Hotlink – Menang Ahad Hausboom Campaign (“Campaign”) is a loyalty rewards campaign made available and offered by Maxis Broadband Sdn Bhd (“ Maxis”) to eligible Hotlink subscribers.
- You: All Hotlink subscribers who are eligible to participate in this Campaign.
- Campaign Period: Every Sunday effective from 12 a.m. on 10th August 2025 until 11.59p.m. on 31st December 2025 (both dates inclusive) or full redemption of Reward (as defined in Clause 4 below), whichever is earlier.
- Reward(s): Subject to your fulfilment of the terms and conditions in this SSTC, you may be able to redeem Rewards(s) via the Hotlink app, for music tickets to redeem at Hotlink’s on-ground booth during Hausboom Music Festival. Rewards available for redemption are subject to change from time to time and at any time by Maxis in Maxis’ sole and absolute discretion. You are advised and responsible to regularly check the list of Rewards by browsing t the Reward Pool' icon at the game's main page within the Hotlink app.
- The Campaign and your use of the Service(s) are subject to the General Terms & Conditions (“GTC”) at https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/hotlink/general/ , this Service Specific Terms & Conditions – Menang Ahad 2025 Campaign (“SSTC”), Summary Terms and Conditions (“STC”) at https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/general/summary/ https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/products/postpaid/general/ , Maxis Fair Usage Policy (“FUP”) accessible at https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/maxis-fair-usage-policy/ and any other applicable terms and conditions, all available at https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/hotlink/ .
- Capitalised terms herein have the same meaning as defined in the GTC.
- Any conflict or inconsistency between this SSTC, the GTC and STC, shall be construed in the following order of precedence: (a) SSTC; (b) GTC; and (c) STC.
- We reserve the rights without liability, to revise this SSTC, the GTC, Campaign and our pricing at our sole discretion. Where reasonably practicable, we will give you reasonable advance notice of such changes and all previous versions of our user guides or leaflets will be superseded. You accept that you are responsible for regularly reviewing information on the plan(s) and Service(s) www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/hotlink/, including changes to the Agreement. Your continued use of the Service(s), and/or plan(s) (after the Effective Date of any revision/change to the terms and conditions of the Agreement, Services, and/or plan(s)) shall constitute unconditional acceptance by you of such revisions/changes and you shall be bound by the same. If you do not accept such revisions/changes, you will terminate the plan(s) and/or the use of the Services by giving us written notice within twenty-eight (28) days from the Effective Date, failing which you are deemed to have accepted the changes.

- You must be a new or existing customer of Maxis who is:
- an active Hotlink subscriber with an active Internet Pass during the Campaign Period;
- a resident in Malaysia; and
- at least twelve (12) years of age. Participants below the age of eighteen (18) years old must obtain written parental consent to participate, a copy of which is to be made available to Maxis upon request at any time. In the event the parent of the Hotlink user (“Parent”) allows the Hotlink user to participate in this Campaign, the Parent acknowledges and agrees that the terms and conditions contained herein shall be binding upon the Parent.
- Participants of this Campaign shall mean any person who is eligible to participate in this Campaign, and shall be subject to proof of eligibility and suitability requirements as stipulated within this SSTC and as determined by Maxis.
- Notwithstanding the above, your eligibility to participate in the Campaign and Maxis giving out of the Rewards are subject to our absolute discretion.
- You must be a new or existing customer of Maxis who is:

- You are responsible for payment of all Charges associated with Hotlink plans and deals you purchased during and after the Campaign Period.

- To participate in the Campaign, you are required to launch Hotlink app and spin the wheel. The Campaign is only available in Hotlink app version 5.33 (Android) & 5.33 (iOS) and above. You are responsible to ensure that you installed the compatible Hotlink app in order to participate in the Campaign.
- Each Participant can only participate in the Campaign and spin the wheel once every Sunday. Participants are entitled for one (1) extra spin for each unique code retrieved from Hotlink website or influencers.
- For Reward(s) worth more than RM500, our telesales personnel will reach out to you via your registered mobile number and you are required to answer a question posed by our telesales personnel correctly in order to win the Rewards.
- Participants can view the list of available Rewards under the ‘Reward Pool' icon on Menang Ahad page within the Hotlink app.
- By participating in the Campaign, you agree to be bound by the applicable terms and conditions of the relevant deals which you have purchased. - Subject to the fulfilment of the terms and conditions of this Campaign, you will be eligible to utilize the Rewards in the Hotlink app.
- Each Rewards has a specific validity period and subject to applicable terms and conditions. Please refer to the terms and conditions specified in the Rewards for more information. You are required to use the Reward you received within the validity period.
- The Rewards are given on a random basis.
- Free Internet Pass given under this Campaign can only be used for streaming and downloading purposes.

- This Campaign is provided on an "AS IS" basis without any representations or warranties of any kind whether express or implied. Maxis, its related and affiliated corporations disclaim and exclude all warranties relating to or in connection with the Campaign including warranties of merchantability, fitness for particular purpose, security and accuracy.
- The Rewards are not exchangeable for cash. Any Reward(s) unutilized and/or unredeemed is not encashable, returnable and/or refundable.
- Maxis’ decision on the selection of participants who are eligible and entitled to the Rewards shall be final and conclusive and Maxis shall entertain no correspondence, complaint, or appeal at any time during or after the Campaign Period.
- The Campaign is exclusively available through Hotlink app only. Any information, offers, or representations regarding the Campaign originating from third-party sources not affiliated with us are deemed unauthorized and unreliable. We shall not be held responsible or liable for any losses, damages, or claims arising from reliance on such third-party sources.
- In no event shall Maxis, its related and affiliated corporations, sponsors, agencies and representatives be liable to you or to anyone else for any loss or injury or any direct, indirect, special, exemplary, consequential damages, or any damages whatsoever, whether in contract, negligence or in tort, arising out of or in connection the Campaign, and your participation in the Campaign.
- Maxis shall not be liable to the participants or for any other party for any loss or damage of whatsoever nature suffered by a participant or such other party as a result of participation or non-participation in the Campaign or as a result of any act or omission on the part of Maxis.
- Maxis is not responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction, unauthorized access to, or alteration of, user or member communications, or any problems or technical malfunction of our telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of e-mail or players on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet.
- Maxis reserves the right, in its sole discretion, without prior notice, to disqualify any participant that is found or suspected of tampering with the operation of this Campaign or to be in violation of the terms and conditions.
- We reserve the rights at any time without being liable to you or any third party to interrupt, bar, suspend, restrict the Campaign and/or Service(s) for such time as we see fit or terminate, discontinue or disconnect the Campaign and/or Service(s) if your usage:
- shows excessive usage or placing unusual burdens on the network;
- is for unlawful activities or for suspected fraudulent activities;
- is not in accordance with FUP; and/or
- is for commercial/non-personal purposes.
- The terms and conditions stated herein shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

The following terms and conditions (the “Terms & Conditions”) shall apply to this Contest organized by Maxis Broadband Sdn Bhd (“Maxis”) for the Hotlink x Hausboom: Tiktok and Instagram Livestream Giveaway, complete details as follows –
CONTEST HOTLINK x HAUSBOOM: TIKTOK AND INSTAGRAM LIVESTREAM GIVEAWAY
CONTESTPERIOD Every Sunday effective from 7 September 2025 until 28 September 2025 or until full redemption of Rewards for each livestream. WHO CAN PARTICIPATE (“ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA”) All Malaysians: - Aged 16 and above only; andwith and public TikTok and Instagram account
- With and public TikTok and Instagram account
WHO CANNOT PARTICIPATE - Employees (permanent, contract or temporary) of Maxis Group entities and their immediate family members (spouses, children, parents, brothers and sisters)
- Employees and/or agents of the content, advertising, promotion services providers for this Contest and their immediate family members
- Representatives, dealers and/or agents of Maxis/Hotlink and their immediate family members
- Non-Malaysians
- Employees (permanent, contract, temporary) of Maxis Group entities, and their immediate family members: spouse, children, parents, siblings, and siblings’ spouses (brothers-in-law/sisters-in-law
HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CONTEST(“PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS”) - Join the livestream on either Instagram or TikTok on Sundays scheduled as per below.
- 7 September : 1PM and 10PM
- 14 September: 1PM and 10PM
- 21 September: 1PM and 10PM
- 28 September: 1PM
- Follow Hotlink TikTok and/or Hotlink Instagram
- Answer the three (3) trivia questions that will be dropped during the livestream session correctly in the live comment section
- The fastest, correct and complete entry in the live comment section will be shortlisted.
- Tag one (1) friend in your comment, ideally the person you want to bring to the festival and encourage them to join the livestream too to double your chances of winning.
- Ensure your TikTok and Instagram accounts are public so Hotlink can reach you via DM.
- After confirming eligibility, Winner will be announced on Hotlink Social accounts. Upon winner announcement, DM Hotlink on the entry platform within 24 hours with your:
- Full Name
- IC Number·
- Mobile Number
- Should a shortlisted participant fail the eligibility requirements, the prize will go to the second fastest participant.
ENTRY LIMIT Participants may submit multiple entries. However, each Participant is limited to:
- Winning only once per livestream session; and
- Winning only once total throughout the entire Contest Period.
PRIZE - The winner will receive two(2) Hausboom Music Festival Tickets
- All winners are required to DM Hotlink directly within 24 hours of the announcement to claim their prize, failing which winners will be disqualified.
CONTEST WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT AND PRIZE COLLECTION - Contest Winners will be identified through full name, IC Number & Phone Number and given the Prize during the Participation Windows, as follows -
- 11th -12th October 2025
- Winners must present their IC and registered mobile number at Hotlink promotional booth at the Hausboom Music Festival at MAEPS Serdang happening from 11 until 12 October 2025 to collect the tickets.
- Tickets are NON-TRANSFERABLE.
- Notwithstanding the above, Maxis reserves the right to use any other method or medium that it deems fit at its sole and absolute discretion for the purpose of announcing the Contest Winner(s). Maxis further reserves the right to appoint a third party to conduct the verification of Contest Winner(s) and to fulfil the delivery of Prize(s).
YOU / YOUR / PARTICIPANTS Participants of this Contest

- By participating in this Contest, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions contained herein.
- ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA & PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS
- As a condition to participating in this Contest, you must adhere to all the Eligibility Criteria and Participation Requirements.
- You may be requested to provide proof of eligibility as stipulated within these Terms & Conditions and as determined by Maxis.
- Maxis is not obligated to consider any Participant that does not meet the Eligibility Criteria or Contest entry which does not meet Participation Requirements.
- Failure to comply with any of the Eligibility Criteria and Participation Requirements, these Terms & Conditions, rules, or instructions shall result in you being disqualified from this Contest at Maxis’ absolute discretion.
- Maxis further reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify you if (i) you are found or suspected to have tampered with the Contest submission process; (ii) you are found to have made any derogatory, disparaging or critical remarks, comments or statements about Maxis; or (iii) Maxis believes that you have undertaken fraudulent practice and/or activities or other activities damaging, destructive, or detrimental to the image and reputation of Maxis. For the avoidance of doubt, fraudulent activities include but are not limited to any act of deceit, deception, cheating and/or misrepresentation of any kind.
- CONTEST ENTRY
- All Contest entries submitted after the Contest Period will be automatically disqualified and not considered.
- Maxis assumes no responsibility for incomplete or late entries due to any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to, network transmission failure or any other problems inherent in the use of internet and electronic communications that you may face when trying to submit your entry.
- WINNER SELECTION & PRIZE
- Maxis' decision on the Contest Winner(s) shall be final and conclusive and no correspondence, complaint or appeal shall be entertained by Maxis at any time during or after the Contest Period.
- All Prize(s) are non-transferrable, non-assignable and non-exchangeable for cash or any other item. The Contest Winner(s) is not entitled to demand or request for specific Prize conditions / requirements / preference.
- Maxis reserves the right to:
- replace or substitute the type and value of Prize(s) as Maxis deems fit, in whole or in part, if Maxis is not able to provide the Prize(s) as described for any reason; and
- revoke and seek the return of the Prize if Maxis finds that you have breached the Terms & Conditions stated herein. The method of return shall be determined by Maxis at its sole discretion and cost incurred to return the Prize to Maxis will be borne by the Participant.
- The Prize(s) are provided on an "AS IS" basis without any representations or warranties of any kind whether express or implied. Maxis and Maxis Group disclaim and exclude all warranties relating to or in connection with the Prize including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purposes, security, and accuracy.
- The Contest Winner(s) shall be responsible and shall not hold Maxis responsible for any additional costs, duties, taxes and/or other incidental expenses which may be incurred as a result of and/or related to the acceptance or use of the Prize. If any Contest Winner chooses not to accept the Prize for any reason whatsoever, he / she shall forfeit all claims to the Prize, which will be dealt with, according to Maxis’ sole and absolute discretion.
- Acceptance of the Prize by the Contest Winner constitutes a release and discharge of Maxis and Maxis Group, by or from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions and/or damages which the Contest Winner may have, whether known or unknown at the present time, of any nature whatsoever, arising out of or relating to:
- personal injury and/or property damage, theft or loss suffered by the winner as a result of the use, employment and/or acceptance of the Prize; or
- any tax liabilities in relation to the Prize and/or use or enjoyment of the same.
- PERSONAL INFORMATION/ PERSONAL DATA
- The Contest shall in all respects be governed by the laws of Malaysia. However, it shall be your sole responsibility and obligation to ensure that you comply with and do not contravene with any laws to which you may be personally subject to.
- By (i) participating in the Contest; and/or (ii) accepting the Prize as a Contest Winner, you expressly grant permission to Maxis and its agencies the right to use your name, photograph and/or likeness, video, recording, testimonial or other media item (if any) and to post information about the Contest and your entry (“Materials”), in whole or in part and in any manner as Maxis may see fit, for purposes of advertising, editorial, promotional, marketing, trade and/or other purposes at Maxis’ website, social media account, digital platforms and any other media outlets without further compensation and notice to you. You (being the Participants of the Contest and/or the Contest Winner(s)) release Maxis, its directors, officers, employees, representatives, and agents from all claims and demands arising out of or in connection with any use of the Materials including but not limited to claims for invasion of privacy, defamation and any other personal or proprietary rights. Any person who does not want to have their Materials used, distributed or information disseminated must inform Maxis in writing of his/her intentions via email at customercare@maxis.com.my.
- Maxis reserves the right:
- to change, amend, revise, supplement, delete, vary or add to these Terms & Conditions without prior notice at any time and you shall be bound to such changes, amendments, revisions, supplements, deletions, variations or additions;
- at any time, change any aspect of the Contest (including but not limited to the Contest Period, Eligibility Criteria, Participation Requirement, Winning Criteria, Prize(s)) without prior notice to you; and
- at its sole discretion to cancel, suspend, modify or delay the Contest in the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond its reasonable control. By continued participation in the Contest, you will be deemed to have accepted any changes, amendments, revisions, supplements, deletions, variations or additions.
- In no event shall Maxis be liable to you or to anyone else for any loss or injury or any direct, indirect, special, exemplary, consequential damages, or any damages whatsoever, whether in contract, negligence or in tort, arising out of or in connection to the Contest, including (without limitation) any cancellation or postponement of the Contest.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold Maxis, its directors, officers, employees, representatives and agents and sponsors harmless from and against any and all claims, actions, suits or proceedings, as well as any and all losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or accruing from any non-compliance and breach by you of these Terms & Conditions or any breach of applicable laws.
The personal information/personal data supplied by you when entering this Contest will be used by Maxis in accordance with its privacy policy in the Maxis Privacy Notice. Please refer to the Maxis Group Privacy Notice by visiting the website (https://www.maxis.com.my/en/privacy-notice/) for more information as participation in this Contest is an agreement to be bound by that privacy policy, which shall form an integral part of this Terms & Conditions.
The personal information/personal data collected may be used in future by Maxis to provide you with further information about similar events and information in relation thereto, which you may opt out of by informing Maxis of your decision to do so. Your personal information/personal data is subject to the safeguards concerning privacy and security of data as set out in the Maxis Group Privacy Notice and the Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
You shall ensure that all personal information/personal data provided to Maxis are accurate and correct at the point of submission and that Maxis is kept informed and updated of any change in your personal information/personal data.
