Service Specific Terms & Conditions – Hotlink Prepaid East Malaysia Offer (“SSTC”)

    1. Offer: Hotlink Prepaid East Malaysia Offer
    2. Hotlink Participating Plan: Hotlink Prepaid 1.0 which terms and conditions are set out in the Service Specific Terms & Conditions – Hotlink Prepaid 1.0 (“Hotlink Prepaid 1.0 SSTC”) at https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/products/prepaid/hotlink-prepaid/.
    3. Participating Region: Sabah and Sarawak only
    4. You: Person(s) who subscribe(s) to Hotlink Participating Plan and sign(s) up for the Offer in the Participating Region.
    5. Offer Period: Effective from 8 September 2026 until 31 December 2026 (both dates inclusive) or full redemption of Offer, whichever is earlier.
    6. The Offer and your use of and subscription to the Service(s) are subject to the General Terms & Conditions of Service(s) – Hotlink Consumer ("GTC") at https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/general/, this Service Specific Terms & Conditions – Hotlink Prepaid East Malaysia Offer ("SSTC"), Maxis Fair Usage Policy at https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/general/maxis-fair-usage-policy/ ("Maxis FUP") and any other applicable terms and conditions, all at https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/.
    7. Capitalised terms herein have the same meaning as defined in the GTC.
    8. Any conflict or inconsistency between this SSTC, the Hotlink Prepaid 1.0 SSTC, the GTC and Summary Terms and Conditions ("STC"), shall be construed in the following order of precedence: (a) SSTC; (b) Hotlink Prepaid 1.0 SSTC; (c) GTC; and (d) STC.  Notwithstanding the foregoing, this SSTC shall prevail over the Hotlink Prepaid 1.0 SSTC only to the extent of any conflict or inconsistency in relation to the Offer, and the Hotlink Prepaid 1.0 SSTC shall continue to govern the Service(s).
    9. We reserve the right without liability, to revise or change the terms and conditions of this SSTC, the Offer and our pricing, at any time, with or without notice to you. Where reasonably practicable, we will give you reasonable advance notice of such revisions, or changes in such manner as we consider reasonable and appropriate. Where prior notice is required under applicable laws, regulations, codes or guidelines, we will provide you with not less than fifteen (15) Working Days' prior written notice, or such other period as may be required or permitted under such applicable laws, regulations, codes or guidelines. The prevailing terms and conditions of this SSTC will be updated on our official website from time to time, whereby the updated terms and conditions will apply and supersede all previous versions including our user guides or leaflets, if any.  Unless otherwise specified in the notice, any variation, addition or amendment will take effect on the date specified in the notice or, where no date is specified, on the date it is published on our official website (“Effective Date”).  You accept that you are responsible for regularly reviewing information on the Offer, our plan(s) and Service(s) at https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/, including revisions or changes to the Agreement. Your continued use of the Offer and/or the Service(s) (after the Effective Date) shall constitute unconditional acceptance by you of such revisions or changes and you shall be bound by the same. If you do not accept such revisions or changes, you may terminate the Offer by giving us written notice within twenty-eight (28) days from the date of the notice of such variation, addition or amendment, or, where no notice is given, from the Effective Date, failing which you are assumed to have accepted the revisions or changes.
    1. To be eligible for the Offer, you must be a new or existing customer of Maxis who:
      1. is a Hotlink prepaid subscriber;
      2. is a resident in Malaysia;
      3. is at least eighteen (18) years of age. Users between the ages of twelve (12) and seventeen (17) (“Minor”) shall be carried out by a parent or guardian in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.. In the event the parent or guardian of the Minor (“Parent” or “Guardian”, as applicable) permits the Minor to participate in this Promotion, such Parent or Guardian acknowledges and agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein;
      4. registers your SIM with Maxis/Hotlink dealer in the Participating Region; and
      5. has signed up for, and maintained an active account under, the Hotlink Participating Plan.
    2. Notwithstanding Clause 10 above, you are ineligible for the Offer if:
      1. you owe us any payments; or
      2. you are a commercial user and/or bulk subscriber.
    3. Your eligibility to participate in the Offer is subject to proof of eligibility and suitability requirements as stipulated within this SSTC and as determined by Maxis.

    1. Each RM10 discount voucher has a specific validity period and is subject to terms and conditions of this SSTC. You are required to use the RM10 discount voucher you received within the validity period.
    1. You must log in the Hotlink app to receive the RM10 internet discount voucher.
    2. This RM10 internet discount voucher may be used to purchase the internet pass described in clause 13 through the Hotlink app only.
    3. You must apply the RM10 internet discount voucher in the Hotlink app to get the discounted price.
    1. This Offer is provided on an "AS IS" basis without any representations or warranties of any kind whether express or implied. Maxis, its related and affiliated corporations disclaim and exclude all warranties relating to or in connection with the Offer.
    2. The Offer is not exchangeable for cash, credit or any other benefit or consideration. Any Offer unutilized and/or unredeemed are not encashable, returnable and/or refundable.
    3. Maxis’ decision on your eligibility and entitlement to the Offer shall be final and conclusive and Maxis shall entertain no correspondence, complaint, or appeal.
    4. In no event shall Maxis, its related and affiliated corporations, sponsors, agencies and representatives be liable to you or to anyone else for any indirect, special, exemplary, consequential damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, business, or anticipated savings, whether in contract, in tort or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with the Offer, or your participation in the Offer.
    5. We reserve the right at any time without being liable to you or any third party to immediately interrupt, bar, suspend, restrict the Offer and/or Service(s) for such time as we see fit, or to immediately terminate, discontinue or disconnect the Offer and/or Service(s) if your usage:
      1. shows excessive usage or places unusual burdens on the Network;
      2. is for unlawful activities or for suspected fraudulent activities;
      3. is not in accordance with Maxis FUP; and/or
      4. is for commercial/non-personal purposes.
