Service Specific Terms & Conditions – Hotlink Payday Promotion (“SSTC”)

    1. Promotion: Hotlink Voucher Sparkling Deepavali Promotion.
    2. You: All Hotlink Prepaid subscribers who are eligible to participate in this Promotion.
    3. Promotion Period: Effective at 12.00 a.m. on 8th November 2026 until 11.59p.m. on 12th November 2026 (both dates inclusive) or full redemption of Vouchers, whichever is earlier.
    4. Voucher(s): Hotlink Voucher(s) for the Promotion as set out in Clause 18 below.
    5. Participating Deal(s): A participating Internet Pass made available for purchase in the Hotlink app upon the redemption and use of a Voucher ("Participating Pass").
    6. This Promotion is subject to the General Terms & Conditions of Service(s) – Hotlink Consumer (“GTC”) at https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/hotlink/general/, this Service Specific Terms & Conditions – Hotlink Voucher Sparkling Deepavali Promotion (“SSTC”), the Summary Terms and Conditions (“STC”) at https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/general/, the Maxis Fair Usage Policy (“FUP”) accessible at https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/general/maxis-fair-usage-policy/ and any other applicable terms and conditions, all available at https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/hotlink/.
    7. Your subscription to and the use of the Service(s) are subject to all applicable registration, identification, and verification requirements prescribed by applicable laws and regulations from time to time.  The Service(s) are also subject to the applicable Service Specific Terms & Conditions governing the Service(s) subscribed by you, which are available at https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/products/prepaid/ (“Subscribed Services SSTC”).
    8. Capitalised terms herein have the same meaning as defined in the GTC.
    9. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between:
      1. this SSTC, the GTC and STC, the following order of precedence shall apply: (a) SSTC; (b) GTC; and (c) STC;
      2. this SSTC and the Subscribed Services SSTC, this SSTC shall take precedence only in respect of the Promotion.
    10. We reserve the right, without liability to you, to vary, add to, remove, or otherwise amend the terms and conditions of this SSTC or the manner in which the Promotion is conducted, or to discontinue, interrupt, bar, suspend, restrict or terminate the Promotion (whether in whole or in part), at any time as we deem fit, with or without prior notice to you (“Changes”). We will provide you with prior notice of such Changes where required under applicable laws and regulations and, where not so required, to the extent commercially reasonable and practicable, in each case in a manner we consider reasonable and appropriate. The prevailing terms and conditions of this SSTC and the Promotion will be updated on our official website from time to time, whereby the updated terms and conditions will apply and supersede all previous versions. Unless otherwise specified in the notice, any Changes will take effect on the date specified in the notice or, where no date is specified, on the date it is published on our official website (“Effective Date”). You accept that you are responsible for regularly reviewing information on the plan(s) and Service(s) at www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/hotlink/, including Changes to the Agreement. Your continued participation in the Promotion and/or use of the Voucher after the Effective Date shall constitute your unconditional acceptance of such Changes and you shall be bound by the same. If you do not accept such Changes, you may terminate your participation in the Promotion and/or the use of the Voucher by giving us written notice within twenty-eight (28) days from the date of the notice of such Changes, or, where no notice is given, from the Effective Date, failing which you are deemed to have accepted the Changes.
    1. You must be a new or existing customer of Maxis who is:
      1. a Hotlink prepaid subscriber;
      2. a resident in Malaysia; and
      3. at least 18 years of age. Participation in this Promotion by an individual between the ages of twelve (12) and seventeen (17) (“Minor”) shall be undertaken by the Minor’s parent or guardian in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. In the event the parent or guardian of the Minor (“Parent” or “Guardian”, as applicable) permits the Minor to participate in this Promotion, such Parent or Guardian acknowledges and agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein.
    2. Participants of this Promotion shall mean the person who participates in this Promotion, and shall be subject to proof of eligibility and suitability requirements as stipulated within these terms and conditions and as determined by Maxis.
    3. Notwithstanding the above, your eligibility to participate in the Promotion and Maxis giving out of the Voucher are subject to our absolute discretion.
    1. You are responsible for payment of all Charges associated with any Hotlink Prepaid plan you subscribe to, and any Participating Deal(s) you purchase during and after the Promotion Period, together with all applicable taxes. 
    1. To participate in the Promotion, you are required to claim the Voucher via Hotlink app, and use it on the same day to purchase any Participating Deal through the Hotlink app during the Promotion Period.
    2. By participating in the Promotion, you agree to be bound by the applicable terms and conditions of the relevant Participating Deal(s) which you have purchased. The terms and conditions of the Participating Deal(s) can be found at https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/services/prepaid-vouchers/.
    1. Subject to the fulfilment of the terms and conditions of this Promotion, you will be eligible to claim and utilize the Vouchers in the Hotlink app.
    2. Two (2) types of Vouchers are available for you to claim and use:
      1. Free 1108GB for 2 days with purchase of a 30-day internet pass (excluding HotlinkMU); or
      2. Free 1108GB for 1 day with purchase of a 7-day internet pass (excluding HotlinkMU).

      You are responsible for ensuring that the Voucher is claimed and used in accordance with the stipulated time period.
    3. The Vouchers available for use are limited in quantity during the Promotion Period and are therefore offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
    4. The Voucher may only be used for the Participating Deals as determined by Maxis. 
    5. The Vouchers are only valid on the day they are claimed.
    1. To the extent permitted by law, this Promotion is provided on an "AS IS" basis and Maxis, its related and affiliated corporations make no representations or warranties, whether express or implied, in relation to or in connection with the Promotion. 
    2. The Voucher is non-transferable, and may not be exchanged, redeemed or substituted for cash, credit or any other item, benefit or consideration. Any Voucher unutilized and/or unredeemed are not encashable, returnable and/or refundable.
    3. Maxis’ decision on the selection of participants who are eligible and entitled to the Voucher shall be final and conclusive and Maxis shall entertain no correspondence, complaint, or appeal at any time during or after the Promotion Period.
    4. Without derogating from any of the provisions relating to the disclaimer and limitation of liability and to the extent permitted by law, Maxis, its related and affiliated corporations, sponsors, agencies and representatives shall not be liable to you or to anyone else for any indirect, special, exemplary, consequential damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, business, or anticipated savings, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with the Promotion, or your participation in the Promotion.
    5. Maxis reserves the right, in its sole discretion, without prior notice, to disqualify any participant whom it determines or suspect to have tampered with or attempted to tamper with the operation of this Promotion or to have breached or otherwise failed to comply the terms and conditions of this SSTC.
    6. We reserve the rights at any time without being liable to you or any third party to interrupt, bar, suspend, restrict the Promotion and/or Service(s) for such time as we see fit, or terminate, discontinue or disconnect the Promotion and/or Service(s) if your usage:
      1. shows excessive usage or places unusual burdens on the network;
      2. is for unlawful activities or for suspected fraudulent activities;
      3. is not in accordance with the FUP; and/or
      4. is for commercial/non-personal purposes.
