Service Specific Terms & Conditions – Hotlink Prepaid Add-On Pass (“SSTC”)

Service Specific Terms & Conditions – Hotlink Prepaid Add-On Pass (“SSTC”)

    1. Pass: Hotlink Prepaid Add-On Pass for 100GB Uncapped Speed Data for Facebook, 100GB Uncapped Speed Data for YouTube or 100GB Uncapped Speed Data for TikTok.
    2. You: Hotlink Prepaid Unlimited subscribers who sign up for the Pass via Hotlink App from 21 December 2023 (“Commencement Date”) onwards.
    3. Participating Internet Pass: Internet Pass RM40 Unlimited (3Mbps) for 30 days.
    4. The Hotlink Prepaid Add-On Pass and your use of the Service(s) are subject to the General Terms & Conditions (“GTC”) at, this Service Specific Terms & Conditions – Hotlink Prepaid Add-On Pass (“SSTC”), Summary Terms and Conditions (“STC”) at Maxis Fair Usage Policy (“FUP”) accessible at and any other applicable terms and conditions, all available at
    5. Capitalised terms herein have the same meaning as defined in the GTC.
    6. Any conflict or inconsistency between this SSTC, the GTC and STC, shall be construed in the following order of precedence: (a) SSTC; (b) GTC; and (c) STC.
    7. We reserve the rights without liability, to revise this SSTC, the GTC, Promotion and our pricing at our sole discretion. Where reasonably practicable, we will give you reasonable advance notice of such changes and all previous versions of our user guides or leaflets will be superseded. You accept that you are responsible for regularly reviewing information on the plan(s) and Service(s), including changes to the Agreement. Your continued use of the Service(s), and/or plan(s) (after the Effective Date of any revision/change to the terms and conditions of the Agreement, Services, and/or plan(s)) shall constitute unconditional acceptance by you of such revisions/changes and you shall be bound by the same. If you do not accept such revisions/changes, you will terminate the plan(s) and/or the use of the Services by giving us written notice within twenty (28) days from the Effective Date, failing which you are deemed to have accepted the changes.
    1. You must be a new or existing subscriber of Maxis who is:
      1. a Hotlink Prepaid Unlimited plan subscriber who purchases the Participating Internet Pass;
      2. a resident in Malaysia; and
      3. at least 18 years of age. Participants below the age of 18 years old must obtain written parental consent to subscribe, a copy of which is to be made available to Maxis upon request at any time.
      In the event the parent of the Hotlink user (“Parent”) allows the Hotlink user to subscribe to the Pass, the Parent acknowledges and agrees that the terms and conditions contained herein shall be binding upon the Parent.
    2. You are not eligible for the Pass if you owe us any payments or if you are a commercial user and / or bulk subscriber.
    3. Maxis reserves the right to alter the eligibility criteria at any time.
    1. You are responsible for payment of all Charges associated with the Participating Internet Pass and the Pass you signed up for.

    1. To subscribe to the Pass, you are required to purchase the Participating Internet Pass via Hotlink App which the terms and conditions of the Participating Internet pass can be found at
    2. Upon quota exhaustion of your Add-Day Quota Streaming Apps, the data usage will be drawing down from the Hotlink Internet Monthly Base Pass.
    1. The Pass is provided on an "AS IS" basis without any representations or warranties of any kind whether express or implied. Maxis, its related and affiliated corporations disclaim and exclude all warranties relating to or in connection with the Pass including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purposes, security and accuracy.
    2. The Pass is not exchangeable for cash. Any Pass unutilized and/or unredeemed are not encashable, returnable and/or refundable.
    3. In no event shall Maxis, its related and affiliated corporations, sponsors, agencies and representatives be liable to you or to anyone else for any loss or injury or any direct, indirect, special, exemplary, consequential damages, or any damages whatsoever, whether in contract, negligence or in tort, arising out of or in connection with the Pass.
    4. We reserve the rights at any time without being liable to you or any third party to interrupt, bar, suspend, restrict the Pass and/or Service(s) for such time as we see fit or terminate, discontinue or disconnect the Pass and/or Service(s) if your usage:
      1. shows excessive usage or placing unusual burdens on the network;
      2. is for unlawful activities or for suspected fraudulent activities;
      3. is not in accordance with FUP; and/or
      4. is for commercial/non-personal purposes.
    5. The terms and conditions stated herein shall be governed by the Laws of Malaysia and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
